This is a practical activity to concretize the Plan to promote the application of information technology and digital transformation in trade promotion in the period of 2022 - 2025 of Hai Phong City People's Committee, contributing to bringing Hai Phong's typical products to the market.

Speaking at the opening of the Conference, Deputy Director of the Hai Phong Department of Industry and Trade Vu Thi Kim Phuong emphasized that equipping knowledge and skills on e-commerce, digital marketing and online branding plays an important role in enhancing the competitiveness of local businesses and business households. Hai Phong currently has many typical agricultural, aquatic and rural industrial products, including many OCOP products that are known to consumers nationwide. However, most of them still face difficulties in accessing digital tools, lack promotion skills and have not effectively utilized e-commerce platforms to expand the market. This Conference is expected to bring a new direction, helping local businesses, cooperatives and production households adapt more quickly to the strong changes in global trade.

Deputy Director of Hai Phong City Department of Industry and Trade Vu Thi Kim Phuong delivered the opening speech at the Conference.

At the conference, Mr. Cao Qui Long, representative of eComDX Center, directly shared many highly practical contents about the application of artificial intelligence in business activities. Mr. Long emphasized that AI is no longer a distant technology but has become a popular tool that can effectively support even small businesses or agricultural cooperatives. Through presentations and practice, students are guided on how to utilize AI to build communication plans, create promotional content, design images, edit videos and automate customer care. Applying this technology not only helps save costs, optimize resources but also opens up opportunities to access new markets quickly and effectively.

Students practice directly on digital tools to create promotional posters, make short videos or set up customer response chatbots.

The highlight of the conference is the “hands-on” method, where students practice directly on digital tools to create promotional posters, make short videos or set up customer response chatbots. Many youth union members, small traders and production owners were able to create digital content for their products right in the class, thereby removing technological barriers and opening up a close approach, easy to apply to daily business practices.

Many students at the Conference shared that after the course, they have more confidence and motivation to bring their products to digital platforms and connect with more customers.

Mr. Cao Qui Long, representative of eComDX Center, directly shared many highly practical contents about applying artificial intelligence in business activities.

The representative of eComDX Center also emphasized that digital transformation and AI application are not only short-term solutions to increase sales but also the foundation for building sustainable brands for OCOP products and Hai Phong's typical goods. When knowing how to exploit digital tools systematically, businesses can position their brands, expand distribution channels, and connect local products with international service, tourism and trade industries. This will contribute to increasing the value of the supply chain and enhancing the position of Hai Phong products in the market.

At the end of the conference, many trainees expressed their desire to continue to participate in more in-depth training courses on specific skills such as livestream sales, online store management or customer data mining for marketing. The leaders of the Hai Phong Department of Industry and Trade affirmed that they will continue to closely coordinate with the eComDX Center to deploy more specialized training courses, to accompany the business community, cooperatives and production households on the digital transformation journey, thereby gradually building a modern and sustainable e-commerce ecosystem for the city.
