This is the latest activity in preparation for the flight to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution and National Day September 2 (A80) of the air force.
According to records, 10 Mi helicopters from Air Force Regiments 916, 917, 930 flew over Ba Dinh Square 3 times. Along with that, 2 Casa transport aircraft from Air Force Brigade 918 also flew over many inner-city areas of Hanoi and flew over Ba Dinh Square.
It is known that in recent days, units of the Air Defense - Air Force have been practicing day and night, studying terrain, and carefully planning flights to prepare for the upcoming ceremony.
The Air Defense - Air Force Service said that the air force participating in the A80 mission used 40 aircraft, including SU-30MK2, YAK-130, L39-NG, helicopters, and transport aircraft. The units organized training for 78 flight crews, ensuring absolute safety.
