
The first “Vietnam Travel Day 2025” program, taking place from November 20-23, 2025 in Quang Ninh province, has brought a rare opportunity for businesses in the province to meet, connect, and introduce products directly, practically and quickly. With the participation of about 520 domestic and foreign tourism units in Quang Ninh, thousands of transaction contracts have been made.
Ms. Do Dieu Linh, CEO of Muong Thanh Luxury Halong Center, said: Through this program, the unit has met many new, potential partners. The unit offers attractive, preferential combo packages, connecting accommodation and famous tourist destinations in Quang Ninh. In particular, MICE tourism services are of interest to domestic and international units.
Also within the framework of “Vietnam Travel Day 2025”, Quang Ninh province and Da Nang city signed a Memorandum of Understanding on tourism development cooperation, opening a new phase of cooperation between the two leading tourism centers of the country. The province also signed cooperation agreements with major travel agencies in the three regions of the North, Central and South, thereby marking an important step forward in strengthening regional connectivity, promoting the potential and advantages of Quang Ninh province, and at the same time laying the foundation for stronger cooperation expansion in the coming time.

Right after this special program, Quang Ninh continued to be the host destination of the Vietnam - Japan Local Cooperation Forum event at the end of November. Within the framework of the event, linkage and cooperation in tourism development was one of the important contents discussed and exchanged in depth by Quang Ninh and Japanese localities.
In the current context, linkage is considered one of the important orientations for tourism recovery and development. According to Mr. Ho An Phong, Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism at the Vietnam - Japan Local Cooperation Forum, linkage is an objective requirement in tourism development. Linkage helps expand space, promote the strengths of localities, form diverse and attractive tourism products, enhance competitive advantages, mobilize resources, create promotional power, promote common destinations, attract investment, promote inter-local and inter-regional socio-economic development.
Following that orientation, in recent times, Quang Ninh province has linked and expanded cooperation in tourism development with provinces and cities such as Hanoi, Ninh Binh, Khanh Hoa, Thai Nguyen, Ha Nam, Bac Ninh, Vinh Phuc and southern localities such as Ho Chi Minh City and Can Tho. In particular, Da Nang city is the destination that the tourism industry focuses on promoting. At the end of October, the provincial working delegation organized a working program in Da Nang city with local authorities, met with more than 20 business units, and at the same time, visited, connected and directly exchanged with a number of large travel companies with a large and diverse source of customers to promote and introduce the potential, strengths, destinations and tourism products of Quang Ninh. The delegation also promoted and quickly reopened flights from Quang Ninh to Da Nang, thereby connecting the two markets, opening up a diverse and convenient tourism space for domestic and international tourists.
For the international market, the province aims to welcome over 4.5 million visitors in 2025. In addition to traditional markets such as Southeast Asia and Northeast Asia, Quang Ninh province is interested in and is preparing conditions to exploit and welcome Indian, Muslim and some new markets in Europe. Many fam trip and press trip groups from India and Italy have come to Quang Ninh to survey the infrastructure and tourism services and give positive comments on bringing visitors here.
In addition, the tourism industry has also actively implemented a variety of foreign affairs and international cooperation activities to promote tourism development, such as: Cooperation between Quang Ninh province and 3 northern Lao provinces; organizing online conferences on tourism between Quang Ninh province, Vietnam and Guangxi province (China); implementing cooperation activities within the framework of the East Asia Inter-Regional Tourism Alliance (EATOF)...
Mr. Nguyen The Hue, Chairman of Quang Ninh Tourism Association, said: The Association in particular and the tourism industry in general are always proactive in linking tourism with ministries, branches, businesses, as well as with localities across the country. Tourism promotion and advertising work has been carried out very early. Many survey and connection delegations have come to localities in the province to learn about tourism products, service quality, and prices. The Association also proactively connects tourist spots and areas, builds a network of connections between units providing transportation, accommodation, and restaurants to reduce costs and prices; builds promotional programs to offer products to attract customers; introduces new tourism products of Quang Ninh, encourages businesses in the province to have stimulus programs, appropriate discounts for large groups, and combines many attractive and classy service packages to attract tourists.
