Specifically, the Public Security of units and localities seriously and effectively implemented the Plan and directives of the Ministry on ensuring security and order for the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification. Absolutely ensuring security and safety for the activities of Party and State leaders, international delegations, key targets and projects... and the series of celebrations.

Strengthen armed patrols, prevent crimes and promptly detect and handle incidents arising at the grassroots level. Organize attacks and strongly suppress all types of crimes, especially "street crimes", crimes that take advantage of event venues, tourist sites, festivals, and crowded places to operate. Implement well the work of residence management; prevent and combat violations of weapons and explosives. Ensure security and safety of detention facilities, educational facilities, reform schools, and drug rehabilitation facilities.

Organize traffic flow and regulation, avoid traffic jams at the gateways of major cities, tourist destinations, bus stations, train stations, airports, especially before and after the holidays; prevent and stop groups of young people from gathering to drive motorbikes at high speeds, weaving in and out of traffic, causing complications in security, order and danger to traffic participants; strictly handle violations that are the direct cause of traffic accidents, resolutely build traffic discipline. Strengthen fire prevention and fighting; prepare forces and means for fire fighting, rescue and timely rescue, especially at locations where commemorative activities are held and where crowds gather.

Police units and localities must strengthen on-duty work, tighten discipline, comply with orders, regulations, and work procedures; ensure smooth and timely command information.../.
