This is a monolithic rock weighing about 200 tons but has the ability to stand perfectly balanced on a sharp rock ledge many times smaller than it, with a contact surface area of only about 30 cm.

At first glance, this rock looks like it is about to roll down because of its excessive weight compared to the pedestal, but that never happened. Over the years, this rock has remained in the same place without falling down.

It is said that if you place your hand on the rock and make a wish, all your wishes will come true.

For many years, locals believed that this masterpiece was carved by ancient Britons. However, research has proven this to be false. Scientists have confirmed that Idol Rock was created by natural erosion over 18,000 years.

Just like the many large and small rocks in this area, they were all formed by erosion many years ago.

This is a limestone area of about 300 hectares, with more than 200 large and small rocks created by natural weathering. These rocks were formed about 300 million years ago, when this area was a shallow sea.

Then the sea level dropped, exposing the limestone layers and causing them to begin to weather. The rocks were eroded by water, ice and wind, creating some of the most amazing shapes.

The area where Idol Rock is located is a famous tourist destination, attracting visitors from all over the world . This place is known as the "Garden of Eden of rocks". Idol Rock has attracted a large number of tourists to visit and check-in every year.
