Among the tourist areas and attractions in the city, many have left their mark and established their brand on the map of tourist areas and attractions nationwide, such as: Son Tien Eco-tourism City (Son Tien Tourist Area, Long Hung Ward); Buu Long Tourist Area, Tran Bien Temple of Literature (Tran Bien Ward); Suoi Mo Park, Cat Tien National Park (Tan Phu Ward); Bo Cap Vang Eco-tourism Area (Dai Phuoc Commune); Dong Nai Nature and Culture Conservation Area (Tri An Ward), Bu Gia Map National Park (Bu Gia Map Commune), Ta Thiet Base National Special Historical Site (Loc Thanh Commune)...

Among the 28 tourist areas and attractions in the city, Buu Long Tourist Area in Tran Bien ward is a destination that has been established for many decades. To this day, Buu Long Tourist Area remains one of the famous tourist destinations in Dong Nai and the Southeast region, always attracting visitors during weekends, holidays, and Tet (Lunar New Year).

Often referred to as the "miniature Ha Long Bay" of Southern Vietnam, Buu Long Tourist Area is formed by a cluster of small rocky islets interspersed within a lake spanning tens of hectares. This is a remnant of the stone quarrying activities of the Buu Long stone carving village from centuries ago. With its unique natural scenery and convenient location connecting to major roads, Buu Long Tourist Area is a destination not only for individual tourists in the city and the Southeast region but also has the potential to attract tour groups from travel companies both within and outside the city.

Having been honored with the title of "Most Loved Ecotourism Destination in 2024" by the Intellectual Property and Innovation Magazine in collaboration with the Vietnam Union of Science and Business Entrepreneurs, the Golden Scorpion Ecotourism Area is currently one of the most attractive destinations for tourists, boasting lush green natural landscapes and a riverfront stretching hundreds of meters in Dai Phuoc commune. For many years, the Golden Scorpion Ecotourism Area has been a destination offering a variety of land and water activities. To ensure the safety of visitors, the Golden Scorpion Ecotourism Area always prioritizes rescue and emergency response, and has been recognized by the Dong Nai Provincial Police (now Dong Nai City Police) as a safe tourist destination in terms of security and order.

Rated as the largest and most modern water park in Vietnam, with 11 facilities recognized by the Vietnam Record Organization after more than 4 years of operation, Son Tien Tourist Area is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the city during holidays and Tet (Lunar New Year). The most outstanding highlight at Son Tien Tourist Area is The Amazing Bay Water Park, built with various themes, from an adventure sports park and a cultural park to an underwater game world. All equipment is imported from abroad, meeting technical and safety standards. In addition, Son Tien Tourist Area also has other attractive entertainment areas such as: Tsunami Bay, Magical River…

Leaving the bustling city behind, visitors can find solace in Suoi Mo Park – a "fairyland" in the highlands of Tan Phu ward – to enjoy swimming in the golden sand amidst the mountains and forests. In addition, Suoi Mo Park offers many attractive activities such as inflatable obstacle courses, boating, and motorbike riding, providing tourists with exciting experiences.

Besides major tourist areas, Dong Nai also boasts ecological forest destinations with the highest biodiversity in the Southern region, such as: Bu Gia Map National Park, covering over 25,600 hectares, which serves as an important transition point from the Central Highlands to the Southeast region, creating a rich ecosystem with a unique blend of mountain and lowland vegetation. Or Cat Tien National Park, with its internationally recognized accolades, has long been a famous destination nationwide for its unique nocturnal wildlife viewing tours.
