Giving gifts and scholarships to students on the occasion of the new school year

On the occasion of the opening of the 2025-2026 school year, on September 5, localities, units, and businesses organized gift giving to disadvantaged students at schools in the province.

*Viet Tien Commune

Right at the opening ceremony of the new school year 2025 - 2026, units, philanthropists, businesses, and parents of students in Viet Tien commune presented many meaningful gifts to students in difficult circumstances.

Of which, Khoai Chau Education Promotion Association donated 40 gifts; Viet Tien Commune Education Promotion Association sponsored by Agribank donated 60 gifts, each worth 500,000 VND; companies, businesses, philanthropists, and parents' associations donated 150 gifts worth nearly 100 million VND and 10 gifts of bicycles. Along with that, Ngoc Duc plastic sheet distributor supported the entire tuition fee for 5 students in difficult circumstances with a total amount of 18 million VND.

Meaningful gifts are words of encouragement to help children try to study and overcome adversity.

*An Thi Commune awarded funds for the "Godmother" Program to 26 orphans

The Women's Union of An Thi commune organized the awarding of funds for the "Godmother" Program to orphans in difficult circumstances in the commune.

26 children received financial support, each child received 500 thousand VND/month. All sponsorship funds were covered by the Association.   The Women's Union mobilizes social support from units and businesses.

Each gift not only has material significance to help children go to school, but is also a great source of spiritual encouragement, adding confidence and determination for them to excel in their studies and life.

In An Thi commune, the "Godmother" program has been receiving active support from organizations and individuals, especially the practical companionship of businesses inside and outside the commune joining hands to care for, nurture, and support disadvantaged children to go to school.

* Awarding 63 "Accompanying you - Nurturing talent" scholarships to students in the 2025 - 2026 school year

On the morning of September 5, the Provincial Police Youth Union coordinated with the Hung Yen Young Entrepreneurs Association to award the scholarship "Accompanying you - Nurturing talent" on the occasion of the opening ceremony of the 2025-2026 school year.

Through the review process, the province has 50 excellent high school students with difficult circumstances who are eligible to receive the scholarship "Accompanying you - Nurturing talent". On the occasion of the opening of the 2025 - 2026 school year, the Provincial Police Youth Union coordinated with the Hung Yen Young Entrepreneurs Association to award 63 scholarships to 28 high schools in the province, each worth 9 million VND. This is not only material support but also a source of spiritual encouragement, demonstrating the concern of the Provincial Police youth and young entrepreneurs of Hung Yen for the young generation - the future buds of the country.

* Granting sponsorship funds for the "Godmother" Program

The Women's Union of Hung Yen Provincial Police, the Women's Union - Youth Union of the Economic Security Department coordinated with local Party committees and organizations to organize the sponsorship of the "Godmother" program, giving gifts and encouragement to 9 orphans at 3 schools in Tien Lu and Hoang Hoa Tham communes with a total budget of more than 15 million VND from socialized sources.

Responding to the "Godmother" Program launched by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union, from 2022 to present, the Provincial Police Women's Union has provided financial support to more than 20 orphans and many children in difficult circumstances.

* In the bustling atmosphere of the new school year opening day, Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Foreign Trade of Vietnam - Hung Yen branch (Vietcombank Hung Yen) awarded the "Step forward with me" scholarship to students with difficult circumstances in the province. Of which, 70 scholarships were awarded to 70 students with difficult circumstances, achieving high academic achievements at 7 schools including: Duong Quang Ham High School, Doan Thi Diem Secondary School, Le Huu Trac Secondary School, Chi Dao Primary & Secondary School, Minh Duc Primary & Secondary School, Viet Hung Primary School, Long Hung Primary School. Each scholarship is worth 1 million VND.

* Giving helmets and Family Communication Handbook on Traffic Safety to students

On the occasion of the opening of the new school year 2025 - 2026, on the morning of September 5, the Provincial Traffic Safety Committee presented 570 helmets and 1,800 copies of the Family Communication Handbook on Traffic Safety to students of An Tao Primary School (Pho Hien Ward) and Thang Long Primary and Secondary School (Tien Hung Commune).

The program aims to implement the direction of the Central and the province on ensuring traffic safety and order, especially for school-age children.   At the same time, raise people's awareness of complying with the mandatory regulation of wearing helmets, especially for children when participating in traffic, contributing to minimizing the consequences of traffic accidents and aiming for the goal of 100% of children wearing standard helmets.

On this occasion, the Provincial Traffic Safety Committee will present 8,000 copies of the Family Communication Handbook on Traffic Safety to 8 other schools in the province.

* Donating "Computer Science Room for Children" in Pham Ngu Lao Commune

On the occasion of the new school year 2025 - 2026, Rapper Den Vau (real name Nguyen Duc Cuong)   Together with the Vietnam Volunteer Resource Information Center in coordination with the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Pham Ngu Lao commune, presented IT rooms to students of 2 schools in Pham Ngu Lao commune (Hung Yen province).

The delegation awarded 16   computer case for   Bac Son Primary School and Bac Son Secondary School. The total funding of 98.5 million VND was sponsored by the Dong Am Music Lovers Community Group and Rapper Nguyen Duc Cuong (Den Vau) with the desire to contribute a small part, joining hands to take care of the education career of Pham Ngu Lao commune.
