Finals of the 2025 Southern Region Chinese Speech Competition

(DN) - On the afternoon of September 5, Lac Hong University organized the final round of the Southern Chinese Speaking Competition - Chinese Consulate General Cup 2025 and the Scholarship Awarding Ceremony for Lac Hong University students.

Accordingly, there are 13 teams from 11 southern universities participating in the competition.

The Southern University Chinese Speech Contest is an annual competition for students majoring in Chinese Language. Through the contest, students have the opportunity to learn more about the country and people of China; improve their foreign language skills; create a playground for students to show off their artistic talents, find talents to join the school's art troupe; and at the same time build a spirit of solidarity and unity among students majoring in Chinese Language.

This year, contestant Le Thi Yen Nhi, Lac Hong University, won the first prize. Two second prizes went to contestants Che Hy Sin, Viet Hoa Quang Chanh Secondary and High School and Nguyen Thi Ngoc Linh, Thu Dau Mot University.

On this occasion, Chinese businesses and benefactors awarded 36 scholarships to disadvantaged students of Lac Hong University with a total amount of more than 750 million VND.
