In response to the Politburo 's policy of comprehensively reviewing the general education program and ensuring the use of a unified set of textbooks nationwide, teachers, parents and leaders of the Ha Tinh Education sector expressed high consensus, assessing this as a necessary step to improve the quality of education and create fairness in access to knowledge for students nationwide.

Recently, the Politburo has directed the review of the implementation of the general education program, ensuring the provision of a unified set of textbooks nationwide. This policy was introduced in the context that since 2020, high school students have been studying under a new education program with many different sets of textbooks. This policy has received the attention and consensus of the staff, teachers, and parents in Ha Tinh - a locality that always focuses on innovation and improving the quality of comprehensive education.
Sharing about this issue, Ms. Nguyen Thi Anh Tam - teacher of Thach Long Primary School (Thach Ha commune) said: "In many years of applying the new program with many different sets of books, we teachers have encountered difficulties in training, exchanging expertise, and developing lesson plans. Therefore, unifying a set of textbooks will create greater convenience for teachers of schools in teaching."

Sharing the same view, Ms. Nguyen Thi Trang - Vice Principal of Cuong Gian Secondary School (Co Dam Commune) said: "In addition to helping teachers synchronize teaching content, a set of textbooks also helps test and evaluate students to become more objective and fair, thereby improving the quality of comprehensive education".
Implementing the new textbook program, Ha Tinh is currently using 2 sets of books, which are Canh Dieu and Connecting knowledge with life. Specifically, in old localities such as: Thach Ha district uses the book set Connecting knowledge with life, Ha Tinh city uses Canh Dieu books; the remaining localities such as: Hong Linh, Nghi Xuan, Duc Tho, Cam Xuyen, Ky Anh town, Huong Khe ... use both sets of books, depending on each grade level. Many students in neighboring areas or provinces when transferring schools encounter many difficulties in accessing lectures. Because the arrangement of topics and knowledge in each set of books is different.

From the teaching experience over the past years, the policy of using a unified set of textbooks has also received the approval of parents in Ha Tinh.
Mr. Nguyen Van Son in Cam Xuyen commune shared: “I fully support the policy of using one set of textbooks, which both reduces costs and ensures that children learn correctly and sufficiently. In reality, having many sets of books makes us parents very confused, making it difficult to keep up with our children's learning content, especially in supporting review and study at home.”
Regarding the policy of unifying a set of textbooks for students nationwide, Ms. Nguyen Thi Tuyet in Huong Khe commune expressed: "Unification in textbooks helps parents save costs when they can exchange and give them to the next generation of students."

In the process of professional guidance in the journey of innovation and grasping the reality at educational institutions, the Ha Tinh Education sector also fully supports the Central Government's policy. According to the staff and experts of the sector, the unification of a set of textbooks is considered a strategic solution, not only contributing to improving the effectiveness of State management in the field of education, but also creating a solid foundation to ensure quality, consistency and fairness in accessing knowledge for students nationwide. In the coming time, the sector will continue to direct educational institutions to actively prepare their mindset and proactively adapt to new orientations and adjustments from the Ministry of Education and Training, in order to implement effectively, synchronously and in accordance with local practical conditions.
The policy of unifying a set of textbooks clearly demonstrates the Party's determination to fundamentally and comprehensively innovate the cause of education and training. In Ha Tinh, this policy not only receives consensus, but is also seen as a driving force to gradually overcome current shortcomings, towards a fairer, higher-quality, and more effective education in the future.
