The atmosphere of the last day of opening the exhibition "80 years of the journey of Independence - Freedom - Happiness"

The National Achievements Exhibition with the theme "80 years of the journey of Independence - Freedom - Happiness" taking place from August 28 to September 15 at the Vietnam Exhibition Center (Dong Anh, Hanoi) is the focal event, attracting a large number of people and tourists to visit and experience.

The exhibition "80 years of the journey of Independence - Freedom - Happiness" officially stopped opening to visitors from 4:00 p.m. on September 15.

After 19 days of opening to welcome visitors, the exhibition "80 years of the journey of Independence - Freedom - Happiness" still attracts a large number of people and tourists to visit and experience.

On September 14, the Organizing Committee announced that as of September 13, the total number of visitors to the exhibition reached nearly 8.6 million people; on September 13 alone, there were nearly 1.3 million visitors, breaking the record of the previous days. It is expected that when it ends, the exhibition will reach a record of 10 million visitors after 19 days of opening.

The exhibition was held on the largest scale ever, with the full participation of 28 ministries, central agencies, 34 localities and more than 110 large enterprises and economic groups with more than 230 booths across the entire area of ​​the Exhibition Center. The exhibition introduced the achievements of nearly 180 industries in various fields with many documents, materials, artifacts, machinery and equipment, documentaries, reports, vividly and quite comprehensively reflecting the outstanding achievements of the country over the past 80 years.

The exhibition was originally scheduled to end on September 5. However, due to the increasing number of visitors to the Exhibition, in order to meet the needs of the people and tourists and to implement the Prime Minister 's Official Dispatch No. 155/CD-TTg dated September 2, 2025 on extending the exhibition of the country's achievements on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of National Day, the Organizing Committee has extended the exhibition to September 15.

This is also the first time a National Exhibition of such large scale has ever attracted a record number of visitors.

In the final days of opening, preparations for the closing ceremony are being rushed to completion.

The closing ceremony of the exhibition will take place at 8:00 p.m. on September 15 at the North yard of the National Exhibition Center. On the closing night of the exhibition, there will be a special concert with the theme "I love my Fatherland". The program will gather many famous artists from many generations. This will be a special art program with brilliant high-altitude fireworks, celebrating the country's achievements.

It can be seen that the National Achievements Exhibition has attracted special attention from the people and tourists, becoming a large-scale political and cultural event with a profound influence in social life.
