Vitranschart receives new ships, improving fleet capacity

On September 22, Vitranschart Shipping Company (SCCM) - a member unit of Vietnam National Shipping Lines (VIMC) - officially received the ship M/V ARKI in Kuching (Malaysia) and changed its name to M/V HD SUN.

M/V HD SUN is the largest vessel in Vitranschart's fleet with a capacity of over 31,000 tons, surpassing the 4 existing vessels (each vessel is about 22,000 tons). With this addition, the total number of vessels managed and operated by SCCM has increased to 20, marking an important development in the strategy of expanding the scale and increasing the maritime transport capacity of the enterprise.

Putting the M/V HD SUN into operation not only increases cargo transportation capacity but also opens up opportunities to improve production and business efficiency, contributing to affirming Vitranschart's position and reputation in the field of international maritime transport.
