According to Ms. Hua Thi Phai - a retailer specializing in selling vegetables, the price of Da Lat vegetables has increased slightly, but the price of vegetables from the West has increased a lot.

According to Ms. Phai, the increase in agricultural prices affects both sellers and buyers. Her store mainly delivers to restaurants. With high agricultural prices, she accepts low profits or sells at cost price to some familiar customers.

“People’s purchasing power hasn’t changed much. But restaurants are taking less goods, because of the storms and rain, their sales are slow,” Ms. Phai shared.

During the rainy season, the weather was unfavorable, and there were consecutive storms that prevented crops from growing, leading to a decrease in supply. In addition, transportation was difficult, causing prices of some items to increase slightly.

During the rainy season, realizing that the transportation of goods will face many difficulties, we have increased the quantity of goods by about 30% higher than normal to reserve and serve people during the rainy and stormy days” - Director of Co.opmart Tay Ninh Supermarket added./.
