Leaders and commanders of the Military Engineering Officer School inspect models and initiatives serving training purposes.

To achieve the goal of training high-quality technical officers and personnel who meet practical requirements and possess the necessary qualities, knowledge, practical skills, attitude, and technological discipline, the Military Technical Officer School has established a quality assurance system and strictly adheres to regulations and rules on education and training to ensure the achievement of output standards. These output standards are developed based on: practical surveys of units, requirements from superior governing bodies, feedback from graduates, and input from experts and professional staff. From this, the school develops and innovates its training programs to align with new standards and requirements.

The process of organizing education and training follows a cycle linked to planning, inspection, and continuous improvement of training quality; meeting the requirements and adapting to the rapid development trends of science and technology (S&T), and S&T innovation activities in units. For training in military engineering specialties, which always demand high practical skills, in addition to training and practical exercises on models and simulations of technical technology, equipment, and weapons, the school has built a bridge between students and units and technical facilities through activities such as: students undertaking technical internships, honing professional skills, and completing final-year internships in professional, command, and management positions in units; The school distributed feedback forms to various units regarding student internships to improve and supplement training programs and content, thereby enhancing training quality. Thanks to this, the school ensured the practical skills of its graduates, affirming its unique strengths, quality, and effectiveness in training.

The school focuses on improving the quality of its management and teaching staff; actively promoting innovation in teaching, learning, and assessment methods according to the requirements of "practical teaching, active learning, and substantive assessment"; paying attention to directing breakthroughs in the innovation of teaching methods and skills in departments and faculties, and methods for assessing students' knowledge acquisition and practical skills in classes; and strengthening coordination between lecturers and educational management staff. In particular, the teaching staff is considered the decisive and central factor in education and training, developing in both quantity and quality to meet the requirements of standardization and modernization of the school. Currently, 100% of the officers and lecturers at the Military Engineering Officer School have university and postgraduate degrees, including 3 associate professors, 40 PhDs, 145 masters, 15 Outstanding Teachers, and 29 teachers recognized as excellent teachers at the Ministry of National Defense level... To achieve this breakthrough development, the school has always paid attention to and proactively built and done well in creating a source of postgraduate training, while promoting the spirit of self-study and self-improvement to enhance the qualifications of officers and lecturers; organizing good emulation movements, scientific research, registering and implementing innovative initiatives and models...

Annually and throughout its terms, the school plans to send staff for further training and professional development, as well as organize on-the-job training through programs focusing on teaching methods, skills, pedagogical expertise, educational management, curriculum development, and curriculum accreditation. Each year, the school organizes competitions for outstanding lecturers and heads of departments to nominate candidates for awards at various levels, creating an environment for staff and lecturers to hone their expertise and pedagogical skills, and gain experience; it also organizes field trips, visits, and report writing for teachers.

In the context of the rapidly unfolding Fourth Industrial Revolution, the Party and State of Vietnam advocate for the accelerated development of science and technology and digital transformation, considering these as crucial driving forces for national development in the new era. The task of building a "revolutionary, regular, elite, and modern" army presents both challenges and opportunities for the school to continue innovating and improving the quality of education and training. With its valuable traditions and resources in terms of facilities and personnel, and building upon the experiences and achievements of the past 50 years, the Party Committee and Board of Directors of the Military Technical Officer School are determined to continue breakthroughs, innovations, and improvements in the quality of education and training; to uphold the tradition of unity, dynamism, and creativity, adhering to the motto: "The quality of training at the school is the combat readiness of the units."

Based on practical experience and new requirements, the school is promoting innovation and improving the quality of teaching and learning, linking the training process at the school with practical activities at the unit; focusing on modernizing teaching methods, testing, and evaluation; and prioritizing investment in facilities, equipment, models, and the application of science and technology to serve scientific research. The school strives to carry out 30-35 scientific research tasks annually; train high-quality technical officers and cadres; and build a strong, comprehensive, "exemplary and outstanding" school, meeting the requirements of the new development phase.
