The generations of students after graduation not only have modern military technical knowledge and skills but also master traditional techniques and knowledge, have management and command capabilities, and meet the requirements of the Army and businesses. In addition, the school also trains military technical students for Laos and Cambodia, contributing to defense diplomacy, strengthening solidarity and friendship among the three countries of Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia.

To achieve the goal of training cadres and technical officers to ensure quality, meet practical requirements, meet standards of quality, knowledge level, practical skills, attitude and technological discipline... The Military Technical Officer School has built a quality assurance system, strictly implemented regulations and rules on education and training, ensuring to meet output standards. The output standards are built by the school on the basis of: Surveying the practical situation of the unit, requirements of the superior management agency, feedback from graduates, comments from experts and professional staff... From there, the school builds and innovates the training program to meet new standards and requirements.

The process of organizing education and training in a cycle associated with planning, checking, and improving training quality takes place regularly and continuously; meeting the requirements and adapting to the rapid development trend of science and technology (S&T), and S&T innovation activities in units. For training in military technical majors, which always requires high practical capacity, in addition to training, practice on models, simulation of technical technology, equipment, and weapons, the school has built a bridge between students and units and technical facilities through the following activities: Students practice techniques, practice professional skills and practice final-course responsibilities in professional, command, and management positions in units; Distribute feedback forms from units to interns to improve and supplement training programs and content, improve training quality... Thanks to that, the school has ensured the practical capacity of students after graduation, affirming its unique strengths, quality, and training effectiveness.

The school focuses on improving the quality of the management and teaching staff; actively promoting innovation in teaching and learning methods and evaluating results according to the requirements of "Practical teaching, active learning, and evaluating real results"; paying attention to directing breakthroughs in innovating teaching methods and skills in departments, faculties and methods of evaluating knowledge acquisition and practical skills of students in classes; enhancing coordination between lecturers and education management staff. In particular, the teaching staff is considered a decisive factor, the center of education and training work, developing in both quantity and quality, meeting the requirements of standardization and modernization of the school. Currently, 100% of the officers and lecturers of the Military Technical Officer School have university and postgraduate degrees, including 3 associate professors, 40 doctors, 145 masters, 15 excellent teachers, 29 teachers recognized as excellent teachers at the Ministry of National Defense level... To achieve this breakthrough development, the school always pays attention to, proactively builds, and does well the work of creating postgraduate training resources, while promoting the spirit of self-study and self-training to improve the qualifications of officers and lecturers; well organizes emulation movements, scientific research, registers to implement initiatives, innovative models, and creativity...

Every year and during each term, the school plans to send staff to study, improve their professional qualifications and organize on-site training through training programs, training in methods, skills, pedagogical skills, educational management skills, program development and program accreditation. Every year, the school organizes competitions for excellent lecturers and heads of departments to propose titles at all levels, creating an environment for staff and lecturers to gain experience in their expertise, pedagogical skills, and gain experience; organizes teachers to go on field trips to units, visit and write reports...
