On December 16th, in Can Tho City, the Central Propaganda Department organization National Conference summarizing the work of advising Party committees on Party building in politics , ideology, ethics, and propaganda fields in 2024; and implementing tasks for 2025.

Attendees included Mr. Tran Cam Tu - Member of the Political Bureau, Standing Secretary of the Central Committee, Chairman of the Central Inspection Committee ; Mr. Nguyen Trong Nghia - Member of the Political Bureau, Secretary of the Central Committee, Head of the Central Propaganda Department ; Mr. Ngo Dong Hai - Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda Department; Mr. Nguyen Manh Hung - Minister of Information and Communications; and Mr. Le Quoc Minh - Editor-in-Chief of Nhan Dan Newspaper , President of the Vietnam Journalists Association.

Delivering a keynote address at the conference, Mr. Tran Cam Tu congratulated the entire propaganda sector on its achievements in 2024. Emphasizing that 2025 is a year when the entire Party, people, and army will be determined, strive, and innovate to achieve and surpass the goals of the 13th National Congress; a year of organizing Party congresses at all levels leading up to the 14th National Congress; a year of decisively and effectively implementing the revolution to streamline the organizational structure of the political system; and a year laying the groundwork for the country to enter a new era, Mr. Tran Cam Tu requested that the propaganda sector closely follow the leadership and guidance of the Politburo, the Secretariat, and Party committees at all levels, and strongly innovate its thinking and methods to effectively carry out the tasks set forth.

This includes focusing on advising Party committees at all levels to lead and direct the effective implementation of political and ideological work; propaganda work, guiding public opinion, creating high unity within the Party and the entire political system, and consensus among the people on the policies, objectives, requirements, and tasks of streamlining the organizational structure of the political system in the new situation.

At the same time, the Party Committee, in coordination with relevant agencies, will promptly advise the Politburo, the Secretariat, and Party committees at all levels to organize a widespread political campaign throughout the Party, from the grassroots level to the Central Committee, on the basic viewpoints, contents, and strategic orientations of the new era, the era of Vietnam's national resurgence, in order to create a high level of consensus in understanding throughout the Party, the people, and the armed forces.

Furthermore, focus on advising the Politburo, the Secretariat, and Party committees at all levels to effectively lead and direct the fields of culture, arts, science, technology, education, training, environment, population, public health care, and social security… in order to care for and improve the material, cultural, and spiritual lives of the people, especially in remote areas and areas inhabited by ethnic minorities.
