In the first nine months of 2024, the number of employed workers was 14,500 (an increase of 0.9% compared to the same period in 2023). Employment agencies provided career counseling to 34,600 workers, referred 3,700 people to domestic jobs, and sent over 2,000 workers abroad. Banks actively assessed and processed loan applications to support job creation, with outstanding loans reaching 712 billion VND...

According to Ms. Pham Thi Thu Huong, Member of the Provincial Party Committee and Director of the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs: The goal of the Labor sector in 2024 is to create an additional 16,500 jobs and send 2,500 workers abroad under contract, achieving over 87% of the target so far. The demand for additional labor mainly serves to expand production lines, increase output, and a small number of workers are needed to fill labor shortages due to the resignation of existing workers. In addition, the establishment of 810 new businesses and the resumption of operations by 250 businesses also provide a foundation for new job opportunities. Furthermore, the 71% rate of trained and skilled workers will partially meet the demand for technical and professional labor in industrial zones and clusters, and attract investment to the province.

The Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs has proactively coordinated with agencies, units, localities, and businesses to review the labor recruitment, vocational training, and employment needs of workers in order to organize appropriate job counseling and placement; and has promoted communication on vocational education , orientation, and student streaming... It has directed vocational training institutions in the province to improve the quality of training, coordinate with businesses and production and trading establishments to organize vocational training classes on demand, helping to increase the rate of graduates finding immediate employment.

According to Mr. Nguyen The Hung, Director of the Provincial Employment and Vocational Education Service Center (Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs), diversifying labor market information connections and improving the effectiveness of job fairs with a wide variety of formats and types of organization will create opportunities for workers to directly interact and exchange information with employers based on the needs of both parties. To date, the Center has provided counseling to over 35,000 people, including referring more than 3,800 people to domestic jobs.

Mr. Andy Chen, Deputy Managing Director of YI DA Vietnam Co., Ltd. (Cam Khe Industrial Park), stated: "The company always cares for the material and spiritual well-being of its employees, actively improves the working environment, builds harmonious and stable labor relations, and continuously progresses. Simultaneously, we implement recruitment policies to attract labor, especially young workers, through all recruitment channels, coupled with modernizing our facilities to meet the requirements of domestic and international partners."

According to forecasts, the demand for labor in businesses will continue to increase in the last months of the year. The Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs will continue to review and monitor the production and business situation as well as labor needs, especially for workers in industrial zones and clusters, FDI enterprises, and labor-intensive industries such as textiles, footwear, and wood processing... to better connect labor supply and demand, and connect employers with workers. It will strengthen the sharing of information on the recruitment needs of companies and businesses, providing complete information on policies, recruitment conditions, working conditions, living conditions, and income of workers when working at companies and businesses. It will also promote job counseling and placement services, improve the effectiveness of job exchanges, and increase the ability to connect labor supply and demand in the market, between workers and employers... contributing to job creation in the province.
