FPT Corporation is ready to cooperate with Hue in digital transformation

Ready to accompany Hue

At the meeting, Hue City Party Secretary Le Truong Luu emphasized that Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo affirms the particularly important role of science and technology, innovation and digital transformation in socio-economic development, enhancing national competitiveness and making the country develop rapidly in the digital age.

Hue City has also promptly issued the Action Program of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee to implement Resolution 57-NQ/TW, setting the goal that by 2030: Hue will be among the top 5 provinces and centrally-run cities nationwide in terms of potential, level of science, technology and innovation; the local innovation index (PII) will be among the top 10 provinces and cities nationwide; the digital transformation index will remain among the top 5 localities nationwide; the digital economy will reach 30% of GRDP; the construction of smart cities will be completed, synchronously connected with the domestic smart urban network.

Secretary of the City Party Committee Le Truong Luu hopes that FPT Group, with its experience and models successfully deployed in a number of other provinces and cities, will provide appropriate advice and proposals to support Hue in achieving strategic goals according to Resolution 57-NQ/TW.

He affirmed that FPT is ready to accompany Hue in the following areas: building digital infrastructure and smart cities; training high-tech human resources; developing digital transformation solutions; promoting cooperation with large domestic and foreign technology organizations and enterprises to turn Hue into a digital technology industrial center of the central region and the whole country.

According to FPT's proposal for digital transformation cooperation in Hue city, the Group will aim to change management methods, increase efficiency and transparency; develop the economy based on technology, data and innovation; build a smart society, improve the quality of life...

Accordingly, FPT will support Hue in developing a digital transformation plan/program for the 2026-2030 period in accordance with the spirit of the Resolution issued by the provincial/municipal Party Committee; concretizing the action plan/program into tasks and projects to be implemented annually; organizing training courses to raise awareness of digital transformation and digital leadership skills for leaders at all levels in state agencies (including information security awareness); completing data infrastructure; shared data warehouse; citizen and organizational data warehouse; digitalization and data extraction platforms, data analysis and mining, monitoring and multidimensional image processing and analysis; wards, communes, etc.

Regarding digital data, FPT supports the construction of centralized databases; digital data services; digitization and formation of digital copies; specialized databases... Regarding digital government, it will build systems to monitor resolutions, directives, key tasks; simulate forecasts; manage documents and operations of the province in the direction of centralized administration and operation platforms in the digital environment.

Especially the digital transformation work in Party agencies and the implementation of digital transformation support for businesses in the city. Digital society also aims at an integrated platform, providing and promoting service interactions between people, organizations and the government; developing healthcare, community health care...

New opportunities, creating growth momentum

Chairman of the Hue City People's Committee Nguyen Van Phuong affirmed that in the process of development, Hue must undergo strong transformation, not only in transport infrastructure and services but also in economic management and development methods. Digital transformation will be the key to opening up new opportunities, creating growth momentum and helping Hue develop sustainably in the new era.

The city’s leaders also said that, despite its many advantages, Hue needs to take advantage of cooperation with leading technology companies such as FPT to accelerate this process. “Hue has the potential to become a model smart city. But to do that, we need the cooperation of large enterprises with implementation capacity and practical experience,” Mr. Phuong shared.

Chairman of the City People's Committee Nguyen Van Phuong also acknowledged that, despite many advantages, Hue's digital transformation process still faces many challenges, typically digital infrastructure needs to be upgraded synchronously to meet growth needs; it is necessary to promote training of technology human resources; and change perceptions about digital transformation.

“We expect that with the strong participation of the government and support from FPT, Hue will become a model of smart urban and sustainable development,” Chairman Nguyen Van Phuong affirmed.

At the meeting, the two sides agreed to develop a specific cooperation roadmap for implementation in the coming time. Hue City expects that the support of FPT Corporation will contribute significantly to realizing the vision, making Hue one of the leading localities in science, technology and innovation, meeting the requirements of the digital age.
