According to Daniel Guardado, the Group's General Manager of Business Development, in addition to being the world's largest producer of iron ore and nickel, the Group also produces manganese, ferroalloys, copper, bauxite, potassium, kaolin, and cobalt.
Highly appreciating Vietnam's economic development, Mr. Daniel Guardado stated that the Group has been cooperating very effectively with Vietnam's Hoa Phat Group in iron ore exports; he hopes to continue expanding business activities with Vietnamese partners, contributing to the growth of both economies; and at the same time, expanding cooperation from Vietnam to partners in the region.
Congratulating the Group on its impressive achievements in recent times, the Prime Minister stated that Vietnam-Brazil relations continue to develop well. Both sides agreed to create favorable conditions for businesses from both countries to invest and conduct business smoothly and effectively in each other's countries.
Vietnam is entering a new phase of development, with many large-scale projects, especially high-speed rail and urban rail projects, so the demand for iron ore is very high. In addition, Vietnam has a large demand for other ores such as copper to support future development.

In addition to supplying ore, the Prime Minister suggested that Vale could cooperate with Vietnamese economic groups to invest in mining and metallurgy, develop strategic raw material supply chains serving the renewable energy and high-tech manufacturing industries; support and work with Vietnamese businesses to build multinational corporations. At the same time, Vale should expand its presence in Vietnam in potential sectors.
Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh also provided information on the current situation, major orientations, development priorities, as well as the favorable investment and business environment in Vietnam and the very good friendly relations between Vietnam and Brazil, especially since the two countries upgraded their relationship to a Strategic Partnership in November 2024.
The Prime Minister urged Brazilian businesses to contribute to concretizing the excellent political and diplomatic foundation between the two countries into economic measures, connecting businesses, connecting the two economies, and bringing the friendship, goodwill, and sincerity between Brazil and Vietnam into concrete products and results.
Noting that the parties are accelerating negotiations to soon sign a Free Trade Agreement between Vietnam and the MERCOSUR bloc, as well as with Brazil, and an Agreement on the Promotion and Protection of Investment between Vietnam and Brazil, the Prime Minister requested Brazilian corporations, associations, and business federations to contribute to the early signing of these agreements, creating better conditions for businesses to cooperate and operate.
