On the afternoon of August 11, the alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the An Giang Provincial People's Committee, Ho Van Mung, chaired a meeting to listen to representatives of Vingroup Corporation - Joint Stock Company report on registered investment projects and implementation of the Green Transformation Project of Vingroup Corporation - Joint Stock Company. Speaking at the meeting, regarding the recommendations of Vingroup Corporation, Chairman of An Giang Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Mung directed relevant departments and branches to urgently review, research, and advise the Provincial People's Committee on solutions to handle and remove difficulties and obstacles in Vingroup Corporation's projects being implemented in the province, in accordance with the procedures and regulations of the law.

The Chairman of the People's Committee of An Giang province agreed with the proposal to implement the Green Transformation Project of Vingroup Corporation. Accordingly, the Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of An Giang province, Ngo Cong Thuc, was assigned to be responsible for leading the implementation; the Department of Construction was assigned to be the focal point for coordinating the project development.

Chairman of An Giang Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Mung requested Vingroup Corporation to urgently coordinate with provincial departments and branches to immediately implement the Green Transformation Project of An Giang province, focusing on developing key sectors such as: Green economy , green transportation, green infrastructure, green tourism, green governance and lifestyle, etc., contributing to promoting sustainable socio-economic development, bringing practical benefits to the government and people of An Giang province.
