Basic training on gender-based violence

QTO - On May 28th, the Provincial Association of Science and Technology, in collaboration with the Provincial Association of Family Planning, organized a basic training conference on gender-based violence for officials working in the healthcare service sector.

During the training session, participants received insights from instructors on gender equality and the prevention and response to gender-based violence. They also engaged in discussions on communication principles regarding violence against women and children; the difficulties, challenges, and opportunities faced by those working in gender equality communication; trends and realities of gender-based violence, and violence in cyberspace.

The training session also equipped healthcare workers with knowledge about certain legal regulations and approaches to handling cases of violence.

The core content focuses on communication and counseling skills regarding gender-based violence and how to prevent it. This aims to equip healthcare professionals with the knowledge and methods to become effective partners in eliminating social prejudices.
