
With two main topics, including: Legal regulations on ensuring cybersecurity, information security, and responding to cybersecurity incidents; and guidelines on ensuring information security according to levels, the conference helped delegates update their knowledge on the developments in cybersecurity and information security nationwide and locally; and relevant regulations and legal documents on cybersecurity, information security, and responding to cybersecurity incidents. They also received guidance on the procedures and operations for reviewing, compiling statistics, and determining the security level of information systems, and were trained in some basic skills related to ensuring information security and cybersecurity. This helps agencies, units, and localities to comply with regulations and gradually improve the effectiveness of managing and protecting information systems in the current situation.



Speaking at the conference, Comrade Nguyen Le Huy, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, and Deputy Head of the Provincial Cybersecurity Subcommittee, emphasized that the conference is of practical significance in enhancing the knowledge and professional skills of members of the provincial cybersecurity incident response team; and at the same time, checking and evaluating the ability to coordinate, command, operate, and handle real-life situations when incidents and cyberattacks occur against information systems in the province.
The Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested that heads of agencies, units, and localities continue to raise awareness and responsibility regarding the role and importance of cybersecurity; identifying this as a regular, continuous task of particular significance in the current period. He requested that participants in the training demonstrate a sense of responsibility, seriously study and research, actively exchange experiences, and proactively acquire new skills and methods for handling situations in order to effectively apply them to their work in their respective agencies and units. The organization of live drills to prevent and combat cyberattacks must be carried out seriously, following the correct script and procedures, ensuring that it closely reflects real-life situations that may occur to the province's information systems; absolutely ensuring system security, data security, and state secrets throughout the entire drill.
