Training to improve capacity for health workers on guidelines for monitoring, diagnosis and treatment of dengue fever

In order to improve the efficiency and quality of monitoring, diagnosis and treatment of dengue fever for medical staff in Lai Chau province. On the afternoon of August 26, the Provincial Center for Disease Control organized an online training via Zoom at 8 locations (Provincial General Hospital and 7 Medical Centers) to improve the capacity of medical staff in guiding the monitoring, diagnosis and treatment of dengue fever.

Associate Professor, Doctor Tran Do Kien - Director of the Center for Disease Control delivered the opening speech of the training course.

Attending the training course were Heads of relevant departments and divisions and medical staff directly involved in the prevention, control and treatment of Dengue fever of provincial hospitals, medical centers, commune and ward health stations, and heads of units throughout the province.

Training content: Instructions on monitoring, investigating and handling dengue fever outbreaks; Monitoring dengue fever vectors; Diagnosis and treatment of dengue fever.
