Focus on successfully organizing the exhibition to celebrate the 80th anniversary of National Day September 2nd

The conference was connected online with provinces and cities across the country. The exhibition is scheduled to take place from August 28 to September 5, 2025 at the National Exhibition Center (Hanoi) with a space scale of nearly 250,000 m².

Activities at the exhibition include: Displaying and introducing socio-economic achievements in 80 years of building, protecting and developing the country; introducing culture, tourism, cuisine, handicraft villages... of localities; culture, arts; organizing bilateral contact activities, conferences, seminars. At the exhibition, in addition to the exhibits, there are also 3D projections, virtual reality experiences, multimedia audio-visual works, digital technology applications, AI...

Speaking at the conference, Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh emphasized that the Exhibition is a very important event to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day on September 2. This is a practical activity to honor the outstanding achievements in the country's development over the years; affirm the leadership role of the Party, the management of the State, the consensus, creativity and efforts of the entire nation in the cause of national construction and development.

At the same time, it contributes to propagating and educating the tradition of patriotism, strengthening people's belief in the path of innovation and sustainable development; promoting the image of a dynamic, innovative Vietnam that is deeply integrated with the international community.

At the conference, the leader of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism said: The Ministry has coordinated with the Vietnam Exhibition Center and the international consulting unit GL Events to design and allocate exhibition areas for agencies, organizations, businesses and localities participating in the exhibition. Relevant departments, ministries, branches, agencies and units have received the premises and implemented the design of the exhibition space; some units and localities have sent the design of the exhibition plan to the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and received advice, comments, and continued to adjust and perfect the design. Speaking at the Bac Ninh bridge, comrade Bui Thi Thu Thuy said that Bac Ninh province has deployed the preparation work for the exhibition according to schedule. Currently, the province has submitted a detailed outline of the content, design layout for the exhibition in the 345 m2 space and is editing according to the comments of the Organizing Committee.

Regarding the task of displaying and introducing Dong Ho paintings at the newly assigned Exhibition, he requested the Organizing Committee to promptly send an official dispatch directing this content for timely implementation. Regarding the financial policy mechanism, he requested the financial sector to provide guidance and resolve difficulties in the bidding mechanism and related issues to facilitate the use of funds to organize the Exhibition.

Concluding the conference, Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh emphasized: The exhibition must be organized solemnly, in accordance with the policies of the Party and State, on a scale commensurate with the country's proud 80-year journey, attracting a large number of people from all walks of life to come and see, and the attention of international friends.

There is not much time left from now until the exhibition; the scale of the organization and the large amount of work require ministries, branches, agencies, localities, and members of the Organizing Committee to make great efforts and determination to carry out the tasks in a meaningful, timely, quality, and effective manner. It is necessary to review the work to promptly handle problems; adjust and complete the design plan; organize construction, installation, and display on time, ensuring savings and safety.

Units and localities need to promote creativity when selecting, introducing and promoting heritage and products to create unique features to leave a strong impression on domestic people and international tourists.

Specialized units urgently complete the overall layout of the Exhibition space; design plans for celebration decoration, visual encouragement, publications, promotional videos; synchronously deploy communication activities, create a strong ripple effect and enhance the effectiveness of propaganda for the event. Complete the security, order and health plan; develop a plan to organize the opening and closing ceremonies of the Exhibition and related documents.

Vingroup Corporation and Vietnam Exhibition Fair Center Joint Stock Company prepare infrastructure conditions for units to construct and implement exhibition activities. Closely coordinate with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and agencies, units and localities to resolve issues related to organization; ensure security, order, fire prevention and fighting, environmental sanitation and health.
