Focus on removing difficulties to speed up the progress of Erex Joint Stock Company's projects

Attending the meeting on behalf of the investor was Mr. Yasushi Saito - Director of Erex Japan Joint Stock Company.

The Erex Sukara Yen Bai Biomass Fuel Plant Project is built on an area of ​​over 6 hectares in Bac Van Yen Industrial Cluster, Dong Cuong Commune, Van Yen District. The project has a total investment of 509 billion VND, producing 150,000 tons of biomass pellets and 150,000 tons of wood chips/year.

After nearly 2 years of implementation, the project has completed the land lease contract, been granted a land use right certificate, completed the leveling of 3 hectares of land... Currently, the land procedures are being completed.

For the Yen Bai 1 Biomass Power Plant Project, the total investment capital is expected to be over VND 2,900 billion, built on an area of ​​nearly 11 hectares, with a designed capacity of 50 MW of biomass power/year. In addition to the achieved results, the project is currently behind schedule compared to the set plan.

At the meeting, the investor representative hoped that the province would continue to pay attention to removing difficulties so that the company could soon complete the project as committed; create conditions for the enterprise to connect with local enterprises and people, especially in providing raw materials so that after going into operation, the company would have a stable source of raw materials. The investor also committed to focus on accelerating the progress of project items to ensure the signed progress.

At the meeting, representatives of departments and branches of the province and Van Yen district discussed and clarified and proposed solutions to remove difficulties and obstacles regarding existing issues... At the same time, they expressed their high determination and maximum support for investors in the coming time.

Concluding the meeting, comrade Ngo Hanh Phuc agreed with the 7 basic contents proposed by the investor to completely resolve related problems.

He suggested that in the coming time, relevant departments, branches, and members of the project support working group need to focus on speeding up the implementation of project items.

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee assigned specific tasks to relevant departments and branches to support investors in completing environmental and land procedures according to regulations, especially for the expanded area and internal roads in the industrial cluster; appraising the design, granting construction permits according to regulations; promptly organizing appraisal and submitting to competent authorities for approval to adjust the investment policy decision of Yen Bai 1 Biomass Power Plant Project...

For Van Yen district, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested to urgently complete the site clearance for the remaining area, complete the construction of the road connecting to the industrial cluster and ensure the technical infrastructure system for investors to implement the project. Regularly monitor, inspect, promptly support and help investors to resolve problems arising during the project implementation process.

Comrade Ngo Hanh Phuc requested the investor to focus all resources on the project; need to coordinate closely, connect, and promptly exchange information with local authorities and working groups to remove difficulties and obstacles. Strive to start construction of the Biomass Power Plant in October 2025, practically making achievements to welcome Party congresses at all levels...
