After winning the Asian gold medal and a place at the 2024 Paris Olympics, Nguyen Thi That returned to Europe to play for the Israel-Premier Tech Roland Club. The 2023 Giro d'Italia Donne has 9 stages, covering a total distance of 928km. The tournament starts on June 30 with a 4.4km individual time trial stage in Chianciano (Italy). The remaining 8 stages are very difficult because most of them are mountain roads.

The 2023 Loc Troi Cup - National Women's Cycling Open Championship will start on July 7. Vietnam has 10 participating teams, with many strong teams such as Loc Troi Group, Biwase Binh Duong , XSKT Dong Thap, TP.HCM Vinama... The Thai cycling team will also participate in this year's tournament.
