Coach Luis Enrique recently suffered an unexpected accident when he fell off his bicycle and was rushed to the hospital with a fractured collarbone.

According to an official announcement from PSG, the Spanish strategist will have to undergo surgery.

The incident occurred on Friday, when Luis Enrique – a cycling enthusiast – was training as usual.

PSG immediately sent words of encouragement and affirmed that they would provide maximum support to Luis Enrique during his treatment.

Luis Enrique joined PSG in the summer of 2023, after his stint managing the Spanish national team at the 2022 World Cup.

In his very first season, he led the Parisian club to conquer every domestic title.

In the 2024/25 season, Luis Enrique wrote a new chapter in PSG's history by winning the Champions League, along with a spectacular treble. Most recently, they won the UEFA Super Cup .

That success helped Luis Enrique solidify his position at Parc des Princes, where he is expected to continue building a new era.

Off the pitch, Luis Enrique is known for his great love of cycling. He once participated in the Cape Epic in South Africa – a multi-stage mountain bike race considered one of the most challenging in the world , spanning nearly 700 km.

Luis Enrique often cycles to the PSG training center, considering it a part of his sporting lifestyle.

This accident has caused concern among fans, but with his strong will and experience in overcoming many challenges, Enrique is expected to recover soon and return to coaching.
