The delegation conducted a field survey at the Wuxiang Urban Area in Nanning City. This area is considered a model of modern and sustainable urban planning and development in Southwest China. Here, the delegation received a detailed presentation on the formation process, strategic vision, and development principles of this urban area. With its clearly defined functional zoning, integrated infrastructure, large green spaces, and harmonious blend of traditional and modern architecture, Wuxiang is not only the new administrative center of Nanning but also a hub for finance, commerce, culture, and scientific research; a model of smart urban management, and the application of digital technology in the operation of transportation, energy, and public services.

The delegation visited the China-ASEAN Artificial Intelligence (AI) Innovation Cooperation Center. This is one of the leading AI research and application centers, serving as a bridge for technological cooperation between China and ASEAN member countries. The center has a strategic development plan focusing on several key research areas such as AI in smart agriculture , healthcare, digital education, logistics, and cybersecurity. The delegation also toured several labs, experienced demo products, and discussed cooperation mechanisms and the training of high-quality human resources.

The delegation visited the former dormitory area for Vietnamese students at Nanning University of Technology. This site preserves authentic artifacts and images of the lives and studies of thousands of Vietnamese students and staff during those difficult years. The preservation, restoration, and promotion of the value of this historical site demonstrate China's deep respect for the friendship between the two Parties, the two countries, and the people of both nations.

The delegation traveled to Guilin City, a place with a special significance in the history of Vietnam-China relations. At the Vietnam School Memorial House within the campus of Guangxi Normal University, the delegation members learned about the years when President Ho Chi Minh participated in revolutionary activities; this is one of the important training institutions that made a great contribution to the Vietnamese revolutionary cause, with many high-ranking leaders having studied there. Preserving this historical site is not only of historical significance but also serves as a source of inspiration for the younger generation of both countries to continue the friendship. The delegation had a cordial meeting and working session with the leaders of Guilin City, chaired by Comrade Zhao Zhonghua, Chairman of the Standing Committee of the People's Congress of Guilin City.

At the meeting, on behalf of the Guilin city leadership, Mr. Zhao Zhonghua warmly welcomed the delegation. He affirmed that Guilin always values and wishes to further promote friendly cooperative relations with Vietnamese localities, especially Tuyen Quang province, a locality with many similarities in tourism resources and ethnic cultures. He shared valuable experiences from Guilin in developing tourism into a key economic sector, particularly emphasizing the lesson of harmoniously combining the exploitation of natural resources with the conservation of the ecological environment, and between the development of mass tourism and the preservation and promotion of unique ethnic cultural identities. He expressed his readiness to establish a specific exchange and cooperation mechanism with Tuyen Quang in the fields of tourism, culture, education, and trade.

She emphasized that this working visit was not only an opportunity to learn from development experiences but also a journey to revisit history and strengthen the close ties between the people of Vietnam and China, which have been nurtured over many generations.

Comrade Le Thi Thanh Tra stated that the images of the dynamic and modern development of Nanning and Guilin, along with the lessons learned from applying technology and developing sustainable tourism, will be invaluable reference materials for Tuyen Quang. She proposed several specific areas of cooperation in the future, such as: establishing a mechanism for connecting and exchanging tourist delegations between the two localities; cooperating in training human resources for tourism and culture; promoting the development of cross-border tourism tours; exchanging experiences in preserving and promoting the cultural values of ethnic minorities; and facilitating exchanges between businesses from both sides. She also respectfully invited Comrade Trieu Trong Hoa and the leaders of Guilin city to visit Tuyen Quang soon to further promote substantive and effective cooperation.
