Review and discuss 45 Resolutions

In his opening speech, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Tuyen Quang province Nguyen Van Son said that at this session, the Provincial People's Council will review and evaluate the implementation of the socio-economic development tasks in 2025, ensure national defense and security and draft the socio-economic development plan for 2026; at the same time, review, discuss and give opinions on 45 Resolutions under its authority.

Presenting the Report on the implementation of socio-economic development tasks in 2025 and the direction of tasks in 2026, Standing Vice Chairman of Tuyen Quang Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Manh Tuan said: in the context of complicated developments in the world and domestic situation, favorable and difficult, challenging intertwined, Tuyen Quang has achieved many important results, with 19/25 targets estimated to be achieved and exceeded; the growth rate of total GRDP is estimated at 8.01%, the value of industrial production increased by 16.6% compared to 2024; the value of agricultural, forestry and fishery production increased by 5.4% compared to 2024. The province's tourism continues to develop, the number of tourists to the province and revenue from tourists increased; In 2025, the whole province is estimated to welcome 3.9 million tourists, with total tourist spending estimated at 10,523 billion VND, reaching 108% of the plan.

In 2026, Tuyen Quang sets the general goal of effectively implementing the Resolution of the First Provincial Party Congress, term 2025-2030; closely following the 5-year Socio-Economic Development Plan 2026-2030, continuing to effectively exploit the province's potential and advantages; mobilizing and effectively using resources to promote economic growth, striving to achieve a "double-digit" growth rate, creating a solid foundation for the 2026-2030 period.

At the same time, build and develop comprehensively and synchronously the socio-economic infrastructure; strongly develop economic sectors; focus on industrial development towards a circular economy, green growth and environmental friendliness; promote effective and sustainable agricultural economic development; develop tourism in a professional, green, distinctive and sustainable direction, soon becoming a spearhead economic sector of the province.
