Donating Union Shelters to Union Members in Difficult Circumstances

The house was started in Ta Lu village, Nam Dong commune. The total cost of building the house is estimated at 149.4 million VND, of which the City Labor Federation supported 60 million VND, the rest was contributed by the family and socialized sources. The house is expected to be inaugurated after two months of construction.

Mr. Ho Van Re (born in 1992) has a difficult family situation. The family is currently living in his parents' old house, which is cramped and has poor living conditions. Mr. Re's parents are old, in poor health, and no longer able to work. His two children are still young, his wife is unemployed, and all the economic burden depends on Mr. Re's meager salary.

The program "Union Shelter" continues to affirm the role and responsibility of the Trade Union organization in caring for and accompanying union members and workers in difficult circumstances; helping union members and workers stabilize their lives, feel secure in their work and have long-term attachment to the unit.
