Speed ​​up construction of key traffic projects

These days, the Ring Road 2 and Nguyen Trai Bridge project is entering an important construction phase. The investor and contractors are urgently speeding up the construction progress of the items.

The Ring Road 2 project, Tan Vu - Hung Dao - Bui Vien section, is one of the city's key projects, with a total investment of VND 7,020 billion. In 2025, the project was allocated capital of VND 3,218.5 billion.

Due to the low and weak ground, the contractor must use the method of constructing soil cement piles. This method increases stability and reduces subsidence of the ground.

The section from the inter-ward road intersection to the end of the Hai Thanh overpass intersection has completed 331/520 bored piles and 15/42 piers.

Workers worked hard on the construction site to ensure the set progress.

Bui Vien intersection has completed construction of 62/98 bored piles, 3/8 pier bases, and 11/88 SPT girder slabs.

Although the project is facing problems related to site clearance, contractors are trying to stick to the construction schedule.

The Nguyen Trai Bridge construction investment project and urban beautification of the surrounding area, which started in December 2024, is a key traffic project of the city, with a total investment of 6,235.5 billion VND.

To ensure the construction progress of the projects, the City People's Committee requires localities to complete site clearance by October 2025.
