Notably, the rate of using citizen identification cards in medical examinations and treatment reached 95%, contributing to data synchronization across sectors. Currently, 100% of public medical facilities have implemented cashless payments, with total revenue in the first quarter of 2026 reaching VND 23.4 billion. However, some limitations remain, such as the low rate of using self-service kiosks; the uneven implementation of electronic medical records; and the need for continued investment in information technology infrastructure.
According to statistics from the Tay Ninh Provincial Department of Health, by the end of the first quarter of 2026, the ratio of doctors per 10,000 people will reach 10.1 (compared to the target of 10.4); the rate of people participating in health insurance will reach 94.36% (target over 95%); and the rate of stunting in children under 5 years old will be 17.0% (target below 16.9%). To achieve the goals of the Resolution of the First Congress of the Tay Ninh Provincial Party Committee, the Tay Ninh Provincial People's Committee has issued a policy to attract medical personnel, aiming to achieve a ratio of 12 doctors per 10,000 people and 100% of commune and ward health stations having doctors by 2030.

The target group includes doctors, pharmacists, and highly qualified medical personnel, prioritizing those with doctoral degrees, specialist doctors (level II), resident doctors, medical masters, specialist doctors (level I), as well as bachelor's degrees in nursing, midwifery, laboratory testing, anesthesia and resuscitation, and diagnostic imaging. The highest support level is up to 871 million VND for doctoral degree holders working in specialized units; from 715 million VND for specialist doctors (level II) working at health stations in border areas; and from 546 million VND or less for other medical facilities.
Tay Ninh currently has 139 units under the public health system. The total workforce in the health sector is over 10,900 people, of which over 7,900 are in public health and over 3,000 are in private health.
