Quang Duong (full name Duong Thien Quang) is a pickleball prodigy of Vietnamese and American descent. At the age of 19, Quang Duong was ranked 4th in the world in the 2024 year-end rankings and was the youngest player in the world's top 20. Quang Duong is currently ranked 7th and has great potential to rise.
Recently, Quang Duong has officially joined the Wika Pickleball Team. The world No. 7 player will become a representative and work with Wika to develop quality products for professional and amateur athletes in the country and around the world.

The historic handshake between Wika and the world's top athlete like Quang Duong also affirms the strong rise of Vietnamese brands in the international arena.
Quang Duong was born in 2006 in the US, his parents are both Vietnamese. His father taught him how to play tennis from a young age and he is on the way to becoming a professional. 3 years ago, Quang Duong unfortunately suffered a wrist injury and played pickleball as a way to recover.
However, he found joy and realized his ability in this new sport , so he competed and achieved continuous success. From then on, Quang Duong decided to play pickleball professionally by signing a contract to compete for PPA (Professional Pickleball Association).
In August 2024, Quang Duong won the world championship at the IHG Briston Open 2024. Or at the Hyundai Masters 2024 held in the US, this tennis player caused a shock when he defeated the world's number 1 tennis player - Ben Johns.
Quang Duong once defeated the world's number 1 tennis player.
Currently, Quang Duong competes professionally in the individual category (ranked 7th in the world) and is developing further in the doubles category. The continuous impressions in recent times have helped this player affirm his name and position in the world pickleball community.
"Never give up, losing 1 match, 2 matches, 3 matches or even more is okay, as long as you keep trying, trying to improve every day," Quang Duong shared at an exchange meeting in Ho Chi Minh City in December 2024.
In the near future, pickleball players in Vietnam will soon witness Quang Duong's presence in Wika's new designs. These will be products with a strong Vietnamese imprint to reach out to the world, and will accompany Quang Duong to conquer the top in domestic and international tournaments.
