Thanh Son actively promotes following Uncle Ho's example

Over the years, cadres and party members (CBCCV), especially the leaders of Thanh Son commune, Kim Bang district, have always focused on learning and following Uncle Ho's example through their specific work. In particular, in the process of implementing the model "Friendly government serving the people", the commune's cadres and civil servants (CBCC) always take learning and following Uncle Ho's ideology, morality and style as the basis for implementing the model. Thereby, not only contributing to promoting administrative reform, improving the quality of service to the people of the local CBCC team, but also helping to spread more widely the humane and meaningful deeds, the sense of responsibility, and dedication to work following Uncle Ho's moral example to the CBCCV and all classes of people in the commune.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Hang (Thanh Non 1 village, Thanh Son commune, Kim Bang district) and some other people took advantage of the early morning to go to the office of the Commune People's Committee to handle some procedures related to land. Very quickly, in just a short time, she was guided by the staff on the procedures and related documents that needed to be confirmed and supplemented to complete the dossier according to regulations. The joy was clearly visible on Ms. Hang's face, she said: I am very satisfied with the attitude and working spirit of the commune's staff as well as the responsibility of the local leaders. When we came to work, we were always welcomed with friendly smiles, thoughtful gestures, and gentle words. When we did not understand clearly about the administrative procedures, we were always guided very carefully by the responsible staff, especially the procedures related to land, inheritance, policies and regimes... most recently, the procedures related to the relocation of graves to the centralized cemetery. Not only that, when necessary, responsible officials are ready to handle procedures even on holidays or after office hours to create the best conditions for people, especially those who work far away. When people have requests, officials, commune leaders listen to the people, directly attend meetings and respond to the people's legitimate requests and suggestions. That is why we are very confident in participating in building a model new rural area and working together towards building Thanh Son commune into a ward in the near future.

Through conversations with many Thanh Son residents, it can be seen that in recent times, the leaders of the Party Committee and the communal government have regularly organized dialogues, listened to and resolved the opinions and aspirations of the people. During regular citizen receptions, local officials and leaders have always paid attention to grasping and resolving citizens' complaints and denunciations. Difficult and complicated issues beyond their authority have been recorded and transferred to higher-level agencies for consideration and resolution, thereby increasing people's trust in the leadership and direction of the Party Committee and the local government.

Discussing about studying and following Uncle Ho's example, comrade Pham Huu Thanh, Party Secretary, Chairman of Thanh Son Commune People's Committee said: Over the years, Thanh Son Commune Party Committee has always determined that studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style is an extremely important task, contributing to building and fostering revolutionary moral qualities for the team of cadres, civil servants and public employees of the commune; spreading good moral values following Uncle Ho's example to all classes of people. Therefore, the Party Committee always thoroughly grasps the direction of the superior Party Committee, especially Directive 05, Conclusion 01 of the Politburo , annual topics, and full-term topics on studying and following Uncle Ho's ideology, morality and style. Each topic is specified in the tasks of each unit, hamlet and each cadre to make it easy to remember and implement.

To continue spreading Uncle Ho's ideology, morality and style, every commune cadre, union member, association member, especially the leader, annually registers to follow Uncle Ho with specific actions; proactively sets an example through continuous learning, improving qualifications, professional knowledge and skills; taking the lead in local movements such as: donating land to build roads to build model new rural areas, moving graves to designated places... In particular, in the process of working with the people, always showing the spirit of learning, putting oneself in the position of the people to solve the work. Thanh Son is currently maintaining 8 models of following Uncle Ho's example, including 1 district-level model that has been spreading very practical and meaningful actions such as coordinating with units to give gifts and sponsoring Dinh Thi Thu Thao (Hong Son village) to support her monthly study expenses, 500,000 VND per month; The Women's Union and the Youth Union of the commune sponsored and supported the education expenses of Trinh Bui Trung Thanh (Hong Son village) who lost both his father and mother, and Pham Quynh Lan (Thanh Non 1 village) whose father died and mother left... The commune's civil servants also actively participated in humanitarian and meaningful movements for the community such as donating blood to help the sick.

It can be seen that learning and following Uncle Ho's example in Thanh Son is most clearly demonstrated through the model of "Friendly government serving the people", the civil servants working at the reception and result delivery department of the commune always focus on implementing "5 know, 3 show", listening to people, receiving people's opinions through apology letters, thank you letters. All administrative procedures are resolved correctly and before the deadline. Elderly people living alone, having difficulty in traveling... needing support from the government to carry out administrative procedures are all visited by the civil servants at home to resolve. The work of receiving people, resolving petitions and dialogue with people by the heads of the Party Committees, commune and village authorities is always respected. With the knowledge, experience, spirit of seeking knowledge, listening and understanding, putting themselves in the position of citizens of the civil servants, many citizens have understood, voluntarily complied with regulations, avoiding petitions and complaints beyond their level.

Learning and following Uncle Ho has helped Thanh Son Party Committee members always have a civilized, polite, democratic, close, and friendly attitude in communication; maintain a "office smile", respect, listen, share, and not harass or cause trouble in solving people's work. Thereby, contributing to the good implementation of the Party's mass mobilization work, strengthening people's trust in government activities, helping Thanh Son complete and exceed the set socio -economic targets.
