The Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee has reassigned leaders from several wards.

On June 1st, the Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee held a conference to announce decisions on personnel matters. Comrade Le Quoc Phong, Member of the Central Committee of the Party and Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, presided over the conference and presented the decisions.

Also attending were Comrade Bui Minh Thanh, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City; and leaders from several departments, agencies, and localities.

At the ceremony, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, Le Quoc Phong, presented the decision to transfer and appoint Comrade Le Tran Kien, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Council of Thanh My Tay Ward, to participate in the Executive Committee and Standing Committee, and to hold the position of Secretary of the Party Committee of An Khanh Ward for the term 2025-2030.

The decision has been made to transfer Comrade Nguyen Minh Chanh, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Council of An Phu Dong Ward, to work at the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee to be appointed as Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Agriculture and Environment.

Decision to accept, transfer, and appoint Comrade Nguyen Xuan Hoang, Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Agriculture and Environment, to participate in the Executive Committee and Standing Committee, and to hold the position of Secretary of the Party Committee of An Phu Dong Ward, term 2025-2030.

Speaking at the assignment ceremony, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Le Quoc Phong affirmed that the arrangement, placement, and transfer of cadres is a regular task within the general policy of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee aimed at making the best use of cadres' abilities and strengths.

Emphasizing the importance of current tasks and activities at the grassroots level in implementing the two-tiered local government model, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee stated that grassroots leadership is a crucial position, greatly influencing the completion of political tasks, ensuring stability, and contributing to the development of the locality and Ho Chi Minh City. This is especially important in the context of Ho Chi Minh City implementing Resolution No. 09-NQ/TW of the Politburo on building and developing Ho Chi Minh City in the new era.

Analyzing An Khanh ward as a key area, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee assigned Comrade Le Tran Kien the task of continuing to leverage his experience, capabilities, and strengths; quickly familiarizing himself with the work and working with the Executive Committee and Standing Committee of the ward Party Committee to immediately implement the tasks assigned by Ho Chi Minh City, ensuring the best possible achievement of the set goals and requirements.

Regarding An Phu Dong ward, Comrade Le Quoc Phong analyzed that this is a locality rich in tradition and with great development potential. With nearly 26 years of experience working at the departmental level, Comrade Nguyen Xuan Hoang will continue to leverage his experience and deep expertise in the field of resources and environment to contribute more to the construction and development of the ward together with the team.

Assigning the task to Comrade Nguyen Minh Chanh, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee expressed confidence that he would continue to leverage his experience and capabilities to work with the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Agriculture and Environment in advising on and implementing Resolution No. 09-NQ/TW of the Politburo on building and developing Ho Chi Minh City in the new era, especially in promoting the mechanisms and policies outlined in the resolution to quickly address bottlenecks and difficulties in the field of natural resources and environment.
