Despite making 10 substitutions in one match, Brazil still won convincingly against another World Cup qualifying team.

Brazil had a perfect warm-up ahead of the 2026 World Cup with a resounding 6-2 victory in a friendly match against Panama on the morning of June 1st.

Panama is also one of the 48 teams participating in the 2026 World Cup. However, their skill level is clearly far inferior to Brazil, a team that has won the tournament five times.

Therefore, the friendly match on the morning of June 1st served as an opportunity to test the team's lineup, as well as to warm up the Brazilian players. In the very first minute, the "Samba dancers" opened the scoring thanks to a beautiful long-range shot and dribble by Vinicius.

Panama also showed effort with their attacking moves. They surprised everyone by equalizing in the 10th minute, when their free kick deflected off Matheus Cunha and into the net against Brazil.

However, all the initiative belonged to Coach Ancelotti's team. In the 38th minute, Casemiro headed in from close range to make the score 2-1. After the first half, the Brazilian team made 10 substitutions, leaving only center-back Leo Pereira in the starting lineup.

It was these changes that made Panama's suffering even worse. The players who came off the bench played more openly and enthusiastically, helping Brazil create a goalfest in the second half.

Rayan (52nd minute), Lucas Paqueta (59th minute), Igor Thiago (62nd minute), and Danilo (80th minute) all scored. In the 83rd minute, Carlos Harvey added another goal for Panama.

The match ended with a 6-2 victory for Brazil. It was also their last home game before the World Cup. Coach Ancelotti's team will have one more friendly match against Egypt, but that game will take place in the United States.
