Leaders of Nghia Trung commune presented decisions and symbolic plaques to hand over houses to 10 poor and near-poor households.
Accordingly, 10 houses have been handed over to poor and near-poor households located in the bauxite mining planning area. The houses are constructed using prefabricated steel frames, panel walls, insulated corrugated iron roofing, tiled floors, ceilings, and complete electrical and water systems. Each house has an area of 44m², with a 4m² bathroom . The total construction cost is 80 million VND per house, funded by the district's Fund for the Poor.
Three houses were handed over to families entitled to preferential treatment and those who rendered meritorious services. Among them, one house of gratitude with an area of 48m² , A budget of 100 million VND was allocated to Mr. Huynh Day, the son of a fallen soldier; two renovated houses were handed over to Mr. Dieu Lop, a resistance fighter, and Mr. Truong Qua, also the son of a fallen soldier, with a budget of 50 million VND each, funded by the central government and the provincial fund for the poor.
With a sense of urgency, determination, and coordination, by April 18, 2025, Bu Dang district had started construction on 161 out of 202 houses, and is expected to complete the plan before April 30, 2025.
