Who do you predict will win the 2024 US presidential election?

For the past 60 years, three towns in New Hampshire have maintained the tradition of being the first in the country to vote early: Dixville Notch, Hart's Location, and Millsfield. However, this year, Hart's Location and Millsfield did not hold midnight voting sessions for voters.

Trump and Harris were tied at the first polling station in the town of Dixville Notch, with each receiving three votes.

The town of Dixville Notch, located along the U.S.-Canada border at the northern tip of New Hampshire, opened and closed its polling station overnight Eastern Time, following a voting tradition established in 1960.

Donald Trump has now concluded his final campaign rally after nearly two hours of speaking in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The former US president reiterated many promises made throughout his campaign, such as his commitment to imposing high tariffs and cracking down on illegal immigration.

Meanwhile, Harris concluded her shortest campaign in history in Pennsylvania, President Biden's home state. According to the Vice President's office, Harris will spend Election Day in Washington participating in radio interviews.

Governor Tim Walz, the Democratic vice presidential candidate, said he was disappointed but not surprised to see the race between Harris and Trump so close. This interview was filmed in Pennsylvania last week and released on November 5th.

"The results are disappointing to me, because the two options are very contrasting. But this is not surprising because the country is really divided," Walz said.

The latest NBC News poll on November 3rd showed both Harris and Trump with 49% support, and only 2% of respondents were still unsure of their choice.

NBC suggests that, given the close margins predicted by the polls, it could take "a week" to determine the winner.
