Sharing about his 7th work about President Ho Chi Minh , writer Trinh Quang Phu said: “If it is a memoir, it must be written honestly and close to reality. But a memoir can soften historical materials, numbers... When writing Following His Footsteps , I thought that in order for the places Uncle Ho passed through to come back to life, there needs to be literature. Therefore, I borrowed the story genre to retell the story of Uncle Ho's journey to find a way to save the country. I went to France, England, America, Russia, China..., read nearly 200 books about Uncle Ho, built a document outline with the main materials being relics, numbers and historical events...”.
