Exciting competition in the court industry

In the period of 2020 - 2025, the Provincial People's Court performed its tasks in the context of the number of cases to be resolved continuing to increase; the nature and extent of which were increasingly diverse and complicated. However, the unit received regular and close attention and direction from the Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court; the attention of the local Party Committee. The People's Council and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee at the same level regularly closely monitored; the People's Committee at the same level supported and created favorable conditions for the People's Court to perform its professional tasks. Most agencies coordinated well in the Court's operational activities. Especially the efforts of the team of civil servants, public employees, and workers, who competed enthusiastically to perform their assigned tasks well.

Every year, the Provincial People's Court proposes solutions to lead and direct the effective implementation of emulation movements; closely follows the political tasks and key tasks of the court; focuses on overcoming limitations and obstacles; organizes emulation movements in batches and topics with specific content and appropriate and practical forms. The Provincial People's Court organizes for collectives and individuals to register for emulation titles; directs affiliated units to develop emulation plans; regularly reviews and perfects the grassroots Emulation and Reward Council. After each emulation movement launch, there are preliminary and final summaries, evaluations of results and timely rewards.

Awarding Certificates of Merit of the Supreme People's Court to District People's Courts

Specifically, implementing the emulation target on professional expertise from October 1, 2019 to March 31, 2025, the Provincial People's Court accepted 30,946 cases, resolved 26,962 cases, reaching a rate of 87.1%. The District People's Court accepted 344,015 cases, resolved 311,744 cases, reaching a rate of 90.2%. From 2020 to present, the Provincial People's Court organized 650 court sessions, the District People's Court organized 3,320 experience-sharing court sessions. Thanks to that, it helps judges, examiners, and secretaries of the 2-level People's Court accumulate knowledge and experience, improve the spirit of learning about skills and professional qualifications in the work of resolving and adjudicating all types of cases. In addition, the Provincial People's Court publicly announced 11,036 judgments and decisions, the District People's Court publicly announced 87,603 judgments and decisions that have come into legal effect on the Supreme People's Court's Electronic Information Portal. The Provincial People's Court organized 95 online court sessions, the District People's Court organized 552 online court sessions. At the same time, it supported the Provincial People's Court and the High People's Court in terms of online component connection points in the locality.

According to Deputy Chief Justice in charge of the An Giang Provincial People's Court Nguyen Van Son, the key task of emulation and reward work in 2025 and the following years is to continue to strengthen emulation and reward work, create strong changes in the emulation movement, improve the quality of reward work in the coming period, meet the requirements of judicial reform, in line with the innovations in organization and operation of the People's Court system. Continue to build a "clean and strong" Party and mass organization, civilized agencies and units, internally united; improve the quality of the People's Court human resources in sufficient quantity, ensuring quality, with a reasonable structure, integrity, professionalism, and qualities and capacity to meet the requirements of tasks in the new period.

Strengthening public service discipline, maintaining internal solidarity, implementing well the code of conduct and building a civilized and cultural lifestyle in the workplace; strengthening political and ideological education; promoting the role and responsibility of Party committees, leaders and Party members in the unit in the spirit of "Dare to think, dare to speak, dare to do, dare to take responsibility, dare to innovate, be creative, dare to face difficulties and challenges and dare to act for the common good". Along with that, focusing on organizing well the emulation movements according to annual themes launched by the People's Court at higher levels, with the key goal of striving to fulfill professional tasks well, improving the quality of trial and resolution of all types of cases.
