A lively competition is taking place within the judicial system.

During the period 2020-2025, the Provincial People's Court carried out its duties in a context where the number of cases to be resolved continued to increase, and the nature and complexity of these cases became increasingly diverse. However, the unit received regular and close guidance from the Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court; and the attention of the local Party Committee. The People's Council and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee at the same level regularly monitored closely; and the People's Committee at the same level supported and created favorable conditions for the People's Court to perform its professional duties. Most agencies coordinated well in the Court's operational activities. Particularly noteworthy was the effort and dedication of the staff, civil servants, and employees, who enthusiastically competed to successfully fulfill their assigned tasks.

Annually, the Provincial People's Court devises solutions to effectively lead and direct the implementation of emulation movements; closely adhering to the political tasks and key work of the court; focusing on overcoming limitations and obstacles; organizing emulation movements in phases and on specific topics with concrete content and appropriate, practical forms. The Provincial People's Court organizes for collectives and individuals to register for emulation titles; directs subordinate units to develop emulation plans; and regularly reviews and strengthens the grassroots Emulation and Commendation Councils. After each emulation movement is launched, preliminary and final summaries are conducted to evaluate results and promptly award commendations.

The Supreme People's Court awarded Certificates of Commendation to the District People's Courts.

Specifically, in implementing the emulation targets for professional expertise from October 1, 2019 to March 31, 2025, the Provincial People's Court handled 30,946 cases and resolved 26,962 cases, achieving a rate of 87.1%. District-level People's Courts handled 344,015 cases and resolved 311,744 cases, achieving a rate of 90.2%. From 2020 to the present, the Provincial People's Court has organized 650 trial sessions, and district-level People's Courts have organized 3,320 trial sessions for experience sharing. This has helped judges, investigators, and court clerks at both levels accumulate knowledge and experience, and enhance their learning spirit regarding skills and professional competence in handling and adjudicating various types of cases. In addition, the Provincial People's Court publicly posted 11,036 judgments and decisions, and the District People's Courts publicly posted 87,603 legally effective judgments and decisions on the Supreme People's Court's electronic portal. The Provincial People's Court organized 95 online court sessions, and the District People's Courts organized 552 online court sessions. Simultaneously, they provided support to neighboring Provincial People's Courts and High People's Courts regarding online connection points in their localities.

According to Deputy Chief Justice Nguyen Van Son of the An Giang Provincial People's Court, the key task of emulation and reward work in 2025 and the following years is to continue strengthening emulation and reward work, creating a strong transformation in the emulation movement, improving the quality of reward work in the coming period, meeting the requirements of judicial reform, and in line with the innovations in the organization and operation of the People's Court system. It is also to continue building "clean and strong" Party organizations and mass organizations, civilized agencies and units, and internal unity; and to improve the quality of human resources in the People's Court system, ensuring sufficient quantity, quality, a reasonable structure, integrity, professionalism, and the qualities and capabilities to meet the requirements of the tasks in the new period.

Strengthening public service discipline, maintaining internal unity, effectively implementing codes of conduct, and building a cultured and civilized workplace environment; enhancing political and ideological education ; upholding the role and responsibility of Party committees, heads of departments, and Party members in the unit in the spirit of "Dare to think, dare to speak, dare to act, dare to take responsibility, dare to innovate, dare to confront difficulties and challenges, and dare to act for the common good." Along with this, focus on organizing well thematic emulation movements launched annually by the higher-level People's Courts, with the central goal of striving to successfully complete professional tasks, improve the quality of trials, and resolve all types of cases.
