The calligraphy competition in Nghi Xuan ( Ha Tinh province ) aims to contribute to preserving and promoting the beautiful traditional culture of Nghi Xuan during the Lunar New Year.
On the morning of February 16th, at the National Special Historical Site of the Great Poet Nguyen Du, Nghi Xuan district organized the 4th Calligraphy Writing Contest in 2024. |
The competition attracted 57 participants, including teachers, staff, students, and residents from the district. The competition aimed to honor the life, background, and career of the great poet Nguyen Du and to promote and celebrate the value of his masterpiece, The Tale of Kieu.
This is also an opportunity for contestants to interact and learn from each other, contributing to the development of the calligraphy movement in the district.
To enter the competition, contestants wrote a six-line verse from The Tale of Kieu in calligraphy.
The young candidate completed their exam.
The competition contributes to preserving and promoting the beautiful traditional culture of Nghi Xuan district every time Tet (Lunar New Year) comes around.
The Organizing Committee awarded 2 first prizes, 3 second prizes, 6 third prizes, and 8 consolation prizes to the contestants.
