Blue Sea Paradise

Located southeast of Phu Quoc, the Nam Du archipelago comprises approximately 21 islands of varying sizes. Visitors must take a boat for about two hours from Rach Gia port to reach this "paradise."

Hon Lon (also known as Hon Cu Tron) is the largest island in Nam Du. It is famous for Bai Men beach, where the sea water is as clear as turquoise. Nestled in the bay, Mến Beach seems protected from major storms and retains its natural beauty. You can enjoy a refreshing dip in the cool water, stroll under the coconut trees, or savor the sweet taste of coconut water, relaxing and feeling time slowly pass by.

For adventurous travelers, renting a motorbike allows you to freely explore the island. A must-see is the Nam Du Lighthouse. Situated on a hill approximately 300 meters above sea level, it is the tallest lighthouse in Vietnam, diligently guiding seafarers. Climbing to the top of the observation deck, you'll have a panoramic view of the beauty of "the pearl of Nam Du." From Hon Lon (the main island), visitors can also rent boats to visit smaller islands such as Hon Dau, Hon Ngang, or Bai Mau.

Nam Du's abundant seafood resources are also a major attraction for visitors. It's most famous for its grilled bluefin tuna (also known as needlefish). This is a type of catfish with a pointed, pincer-like snout. Its skin and bones are blue, hence the name "bluefin tuna." Locals usually wrap the fish in banana leaves and grill it over charcoal. The fragrant grilled fish, wrapped in rice paper with various vegetables and dipped in a garlic and chili fish sauce, is an irresistible delicacy.
