The Miss Grand International (MGI) homepage announced the identity of the eighth judge for the MGI All Stars 2026 competition as Psi Scott, heir to the Singha Group, causing a stir on beauty pageant forums.
Psi Scott is introduced on the MGI homepage as a well-known social activist in Thailand. His name is currently attracting attention from Vietnamese fans after he spoke out accusing his brother, Pi Sunith Scott, of sexually abusing him from the ages of 12 to 24.
In a video posted on social media, Psi Scott broke down in tears as he recounted the events that shocked public opinion in Thailand. Psi Scott also asserted that everyone in his family knew about the incident, but no one stood up to defend or help him.
Pi Sunith Scott – the older brother of Psi Scott – is the heir to the famous Singha beer group in Thailand. He is married to actress Mild Lapassalan, and she is currently pregnant.
Following his younger brother's accusations, Pi Sunith Scott explained and denied the allegations. Many famous Thai artists also expressed their support for Pi Sunith Scott and Mild Lapassalan. However, under pressure from public opinion, many artists had to issue apologies.
Faced with a wave of outrage and negative repercussions, Singha Corporation's CEO announced that Pi Sunith Scott has been officially removed from all his positions at the company and its subsidiaries.
Singha Group also commits to full cooperation with the authorities to investigate and clarify the truth, ensuring fairness without any cover-up.
In contrast to his brother's career decline, Psi Scott received strong support from the community and especially from Mr. Nawat, who invited him to take on the role of judge at MGI All Stars 2026.
Explaining this decision, Mr. Nawat said he had been keeping an eye on Psi for a long time, especially after witnessing how he displayed his mindset and strength on the Hone Krasae program.
Mr. Nawat also frankly criticized the hypocrisy of wealthy families: "They own big brands, are always associated with the image of sponsoring charity, supporting sports , and promoting social ethics. However, they forget to bring fairness to their own family members," Mr. Nawat shared his opinion.
However, Nawat's invitation to Psi Scott as a judge on MGI All Stars remains controversial on beauty pageant forums. Many believe this is a move by Nawat to capitalize on the controversy surrounding Psi Scott to increase attention to the competition.
Psi Scott has previously sparked controversy on social media with his outspoken and public statements on sensitive issues. Viewers are concerned that Psi Scott's controversial behavior could become a double-edged sword, affecting the reputation and credibility of the competition.
Psi Scott is the eighth judge of MGI All Stars 2026. Previously, the competition announced judges including Venezuelan beauty pageant mogul Osmel Sousa, Miss Universe 2005 Natalie Glebova, Miss Grand International 2022 Isabella Menin, and others.
Additionally, the MGI All Stars judging panel includes composer Omar Harfouch. He was previously invited to be a judge for Miss Universe 2025 but declined due to suspicions that businessman Raul Rocha – the owner of Miss Universe – paved the way for Mexican beauty Fatima Bosch to win the crown.
