Children in Nghe An province compete in storytelling about President Ho Chi Minh.

To commemorate the 136th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2026), on the afternoon of May 19, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Youth Union and the Provincial Children's Council of Nghe An province organized the opening ceremony of the "We Tell Stories About Uncle Ho" competition for the 2025-2026 school year.

The competition attracted the participation of 11 outstanding contestants from various competitive clusters throughout the province. This is a meaningful activity aimed at educating children about revolutionary traditions, fostering love for their homeland and country, and instilling respect for President Ho Chi Minh; at the same time, it creates a beneficial playground for them to develop their presentation skills, storytelling abilities, and spread beautiful stories about President Ho Chi Minh.

At the competition, the children presented many touching and meaningful stories about the life, career, thoughts, ethics, and style of the beloved President Ho Chi Minh. Each performance not only showcased confidence, creativity, and storytelling skills but also expressed the deep respect and gratitude of the children of Nghe An towards President Ho Chi Minh. Many performances were elaborately prepared, combining storytelling with dramatization and vivid illustrations, leaving a lasting impression on the audience.

Through this competition, the Organizing Committee hopes to contribute to spreading the study and emulation of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, ethics, and style among children; helping them better understand the life and revolutionary career of Uncle Ho, thereby fostering national pride, a sense of self-improvement, good learning, a beautiful life, and being worthy of being Uncle Ho's good children.

At the end of the competition, the Organizing Committee awarded prizes to outstanding participants in both the Primary and Secondary school categories, including: 2 first prizes, 4 second prizes, and 5 third prizes.
