On February 1, THILOGI held a Conference to Deploy the 2024 Plan to set out strategies, goals and continue to improve management work in the new year.

The conference listened to reports on strategies, operational plans, and management work in 2024 and the 5-year plan (2023 - 2027) of THILOGI and its Corporations and affiliated companies, focusing on specific goals and tasks: Developing Chu Lai port into a specialized container port in the Central region, an international transit gateway connecting with the Central Highlands, Laos, Cambodia and the North and South; cooperating and linking with international shipping lines, promoting forwarding services, domestic sea transport to reduce logistics costs; planning the road network, arranging means of transport suitable for each route; investing in equipment and organizing operations in a specialized and synchronous direction; at the same time promoting investment in the Cua Lo route to attract large-capacity ships to diversify international transport routes to Chu Lai port.
In 2024, THILOGI will continue to improve and upgrade its governance, focusing on legal governance, investment capital, service quality and price to ensure efficiency and competitiveness; apply information technology and digital transformation with a suitable roadmap; especially develop human resources in line with THACO's philosophy and culture, the specific characteristics of the logistics industry and THILOGI's business strategy.
Speaking at the Conference, Mr. Tran Ba Duong - Chairman of THACO's Board of Directors directed: THILOGI's consistent strategic orientation is to build a standard service to effectively support the production and business activities of THACO's member corporations and thereby develop external business. Currently, the problem in Chu Lai is that logistics costs are higher than the two ends of the South - North. To solve this problem, in the coming time, THILOGI needs to focus on implementing key tasks: Specialization from routes to vehicles (establishing transfer stations, setting up each route and arranging appropriate vehicles) to control the road transport process; coordinate with local authorities to speed up the upgrading progress, put into operation the expanded port, invest in building Cua Lo channel to receive 50,000-ton ships; promote forwarding services to connect goods sources of enterprises, making Chu Lai port a large specialized container port in the Central region.
The Chairman of the Board of Directors of THACO emphasized: THILOGI needs to continue to upgrade its management; build a team of cultured - honest - upright human resources. In particular, improve the image of the driver team from attitude, style to customer service, propose appropriate treatment for work efficiency. For leaders and managers, it is necessary to turn vision into action, be responsible, prestigious, and be an example for human resource development. In addition, THILOGI needs to establish criteria and standards in recruiting, training, and coaching quality human resources on site.

Also at the Conference, in order to recognize the efforts in production, business and encourage the spirit of THILOGI employees, the Chairman of the Board of Directors and the Board of General Directors of THACO rewarded 2 collectives and 2 individuals with outstanding achievements in 2023.
