Miners look toward the future.

In recent years, in addition to caring for the lives of its workers, Mao Khe Coal Company - TKV has also invested in many projects and works to ensure safety, increase labor productivity, and improve working conditions for its employees.

In accordance with the Vietnam Coal Industry Development Plan up to 2020, with prospects to 2030, Mao Khe Coal Company has invested in the Mao Khe underground mining project below the -150 meter level. The project has a mining capacity of 2 million tons of coal per year and a lifespan of 32 years. Currently, the project is continuing with basic construction work and has begun coal extraction in areas with stable geological conditions and good coal quality.

To ensure safety, increase labor productivity, and improve working conditions for employees, the company is currently expanding the ZHF1.600/16/24 hydraulic frame support technology to most long, inclined horizontal mine workings, replacing single hydraulic support columns and XDY mobile hydraulic support systems; continuing to apply monorail pipe material transport, maintaining the operation of coal conveyor lines; and effectively operating the main ventilation stations at all levels to ensure ventilation and promptly meet the production requirements in the company's underground mines.

With sound investment solutions, in 2022, the company extracted 2.08 million tons of raw coal. This year marked a significant milestone, achieving a production output of over 2 million tons per year since its restoration and development; and successfully maintaining occupational safety and health, preventing any serious accidents or incidents.

In particular, in 2022, Mao Khe Coal Company – TKV was the only representative unit of the underground coal mining sector under the Vietnam Coal and Mineral Industry Group to be honored by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs , and the Vietnam Federation of Industry and Trade as a "Typical Enterprise for Workers". This achievement once again affirms that caring for workers is an investment in the sustainable development of Mao Khe Coal Company in the new era.
