(BTNO) - On the afternoon of February 21, the People's Council of Chau Thanh district, term XII, 2021-2026, held the 12th session (special session) to review and give opinions on the Project to reorganize specialized agencies under the District People's Committee, and the Master Plan for the new urban area of ​​Chau Thanh until 2045.

Delegates voted to approve the Project to reorganize specialized agencies under the District People's Committee.

Mr. Than Van Nhan - Standing Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the District People's Council and Mr. Nguyen Thanh Lam - Vice Chairman of the District People's Council co-chaired the meeting.

At the meeting, the District People's Committee approved the report on the reorganization of specialized agencies under the District People's Committee. formation, after the reorganization, the District People's Committee has 7 departments and 2 equivalent agencies, including: Department of Home Affairs; Department of Agriculture and Environment; Department of Economy , Infrastructure and Urban Areas; Department of Culture, Science and Information; Department of Education and Training; Department of Finance - Planning; Department of Justice; Office of the People's Council and People's Committee; Inspectorate.

After the reorganization, the district implemented streamlining the organizational apparatus in accordance with the direction of the superiors, reducing the number of focal points of specialized agencies under the District People's Committee, reducing the number of heads, deputy heads and specialists.

Also at the meeting, the District People's Committee approved the general planning of the new urban area of ​​​​Chau Thanh until 2045. legible, the planning goal of Chau Thanh urban development is to become a growth pole in the border area connecting with Tay Ninh city and Phuoc Tan border gate; aiming to develop an urban area with good quality of life, protecting the ecological environment, cultural identity, ensuring national defense and security; creating a legal basis for establishing zoning plans and detailed plans to manage development, ensuring urban quality according to type IV urban standards.

At the meeting, 100% of the district People's Council delegates voted unanimously to approve the Project to reorganize specialized agencies under the district People's Committee and the Master Plan for the new urban area of ​​Chau Thanh, Chau Thanh district, Tay Ninh province until 2045.
