On the morning of July 20, the Provincial Defense Zone Exercise Steering Committee held a conference to approve the intention to conduct the defense zone exercise in Dong Hung district, Quynh Phu district, Thai Binh city, and the defense zone assurance exercise of the Department of Industry and Trade.

At the conference, representatives of the Military Commands of districts and cities and leaders of the Department of Industry and Trade reported on the content, intentions and procedures of the exercise. Next, the delegates focused on discussing a number of issues related to the content of the exercise, the time of the exercise, the preparation of weapons, equipment, training and coaching for the participants.

In his concluding remarks, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Provincial Steering Committee for the Military Exercise basically agreed with the intention of the exercise of the districts, cities and the Department of Industry and Trade; proposed that Thai Binh city and the Department of Industry and Trade coordinate to organize the exercise at the same time to facilitate leadership and direction. The districts and cities fully prepare the system of documents to ensure compliance with regulations; organize the construction of command posts to ensure adequate equipment, tight, and good service for the exercise. During the field exercise, the Department of Industry and Trade must determine the location and unit operating the production line to ensure defensive operations. The districts and cities firmly grasp the principles, flexibly apply tactical forms, organize training and practice closely. The number of troops participating in the exercise is large, so it is necessary to ensure absolute safety for people and weapons and equipment.
