Ho Tram is a coastal commune located approximately 120 km from the center of Ho Chi Minh City. The commune was formed by merging Phuoc Buu town with Phuoc Tan and Phuoc Thuan communes (formerly Xuyen Moc district, Ba Ria - Vung Tau province). The commune has met or exceeded all the criteria for becoming a ward. |

In the first quarter of the year, Ho Tram welcomed nearly 183,300 domestic and international tourists for sightseeing, swimming, and relaxation, including nearly 53,000 international visitors. Total revenue is estimated at over 412 billion VND . |

Besides its coastal advantages, the commune also has nearly 2,000 hectares of conservation forest land and 960 hectares of protection forest land for developing tourism under the forest canopy. The commune owns a portion of the Binh Chau - Phuoc Buu Nature Reserve, one of the rare remaining coastal forest ecosystems in the Southeast region of Vietnam. |

Alongside the development of the tourism industry, transportation infrastructure connecting to Ho Tram is receiving significant investment. This includes the Ho Tram - Long Thanh Airport expressway (42 km), a project being accelerated to begin construction before July, aiming to attract a large influx of international tourists to the area over the next four years. |

The proposed route is being invested in under the PPP (Public-Private Partnership) and BT (Build-Transfer) contract methods, with a total cost of over 44,000 billion VND . The design scale includes 4 lanes, a speed limit of 100 km/h, and will be upgraded to 6 lanes in the future. |

At the same time, it is expected that by the third quarter, the entire Ben Luc - Long Thanh expressway will be completed, ready to welcome domestic tourists from the Southwestern region. |

In the coastal area, the Vung Tau - Binh Thuan road axis is being expanded and directly connected to the Ho Tram - Long Thanh airport expressway. This road aims to complete the regional transportation infrastructure, creating an economic corridor connecting the Cai Mep - Thi Vai port cluster with Long Thanh airport, the Bien Hoa - Vung Tau expressway, and other key transportation hubs. |
