At the Conference, Deputy Head of the Central Organizing Committee Hoang Dang Quang announced Decision No. 1399-QDNS/TW dated July 25, 2024 of the Secretariat on the transfer and appointment of Mr. Nguyen Hoang Giang, member of the Party Committee, Deputy Minister of Science and Technology , to hold the position of Deputy Secretary of the Quang Ngai Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term. At the same time, Mr. Giang was introduced to the Provincial People's Council to elect him as Chairman of the Quang Ngai Provincial People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term.
Deputy Head of the Central Organizing Committee Hoang Dang Quang congratulated the new Deputy Secretary of the Quang Ngai Provincial Party Committee, affirming that during his work, Mr. Nguyen Hoang Giang and the collective leadership and staff of the Ministry of Science and Technology have been united and developed, always been assessed to have completed their tasks well, and have good development trends and prospects. Deputy Head of the Central Organizing Committee Hoang Dang Quang suggested that Deputy Secretary of the Quang Ngai Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Hoang Giang continue to inherit and promote the achievements, grasp the new situation, unite with the Party Committee, People and Government to build Quang Ngai to develop more and more.
Speaking at the ceremony to accept the assignment, the new Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Hoang Giang said that the new assignment is an honor for him personally, and at the same time, it is also a task and responsibility that the Party, the State, and Quang Ngai province trust and entrust. Mr. Nguyen Hoang Giang (53 years old, hometown Hai Phong city) has a PhD in Economics, Senior Political Theory). Mr. Giang has held the following positions: Deputy Director of Hai Phong Department of Trade; Deputy Director of Hai Phong Department of Industry and Trade; Deputy Head of the Economic Department - Office of the Party Central Committee; Department Head, Secretary of the Politburo, Chairman of the Central Inspection Committee; member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Thai Binh province (term 2016 - 2021). In June 2020, Mr. Nguyen Hoang Giang was transferred and appointed as Deputy Minister of Science and Technology.
