Also attending were Tran Luu Quang, Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam and Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee; Stephan Mergenthaler, Managing Director of the World Economic Forum (WEF); leaders from central and local ministries and agencies, international and Vietnamese; and Chairmen and CEOs of leading international and Vietnamese multinational corporations and businesses.
The Autumn Economic Forum 2025 is directed by the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee, chaired by the Center for the Fourth Industrial Revolution (HCMC C4IR), and organized in coordination with various agencies, ministries, and the World Economic Forum (WEF).
The forum will take place from November 24-30, 2025, with a series of key activities over three days from November 25-27, 2025, and is expected to gather more than 1,500 domestic and international delegates.
This year's forum is themed "Green Transformation in the Digital Age," reflecting Vietnam's strategic vision of combining the two biggest drivers of the 21st century: digital transformation and green transformation, towards a smart, sustainable, and deeply integrated economy.
Specifically, the "CEO 500 – Tea Connect" program is a high-level dialogue space between the Government and Ho Chi Minh City with more than 500 domestic and international business leaders, focusing on public-private partnership models, green investment strategies, technological innovation, and modern urban governance.

At the same time, the event opens up great opportunities for Vietnamese businesses to participate more deeply in regional and global supply chains, access capital flows, technology, knowledge, and advanced management models, thereby enhancing their competitiveness and ability to integrate internationally.
One of the highlights of the opening of CEO 500 – Tea Connect was the integration of Vietnamese cultural identity into the business networking space. The program began with an artistic performance titled "Vietnamese Tea - the scent of the land, the colors of the sky, and the soul of the Vietnamese people," combined with the ritual of offering and inviting tea by tea masters to the delegates.
The use of tea ceremony art in diplomatic events not only creates an aesthetic experience but also demonstrates an open and friendly spirit – a crucial element in building business cooperation and exchanging policies.
Following this, leaders from the Ho Chi Minh City Institute for Development Research and the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Finance delivered speeches, providing a comprehensive overview of the city's strategic direction and development space for the period 2026-2030, with a vision to 2045, along with key projects that are currently being implemented and will be implemented, playing a crucial role in the city's growth structure.
The CEO 500 – Tea Connect dialogue session – an open forum for the business community – will feature presentations from international organizations and global corporations such as Foxconn Technology Group, Qualcomm, Siemens, Amazon, along with many prominent Vietnamese businesses such as Nam A Bank, Techcombank, etc.

Tran Luu Quang, Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam and Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, delivered a speech at the event.
The discussions focused on practical issues of concern to businesses in the context of Ho Chi Minh City repositioning itself as a "dynamic megacity," including: cooperation in digital transformation - green transformation, the need for new digital and strategic infrastructure, an international financial center and attracting high-quality capital flows, building an innovation ecosystem, developing high-skilled human resources, especially in AI and digital technology, as well as exploiting the potential of public-private partnerships (PPP) in strategic projects.
The event contributes to shaping Ho Chi Minh City's image as a dynamic, innovative, and open economic center that actively attracts global resources, while also creating opportunities for businesses to access strategic directions early, adjust investment plans, human resource needs, and expand markets.
The Government's Electronic Information Portal will continue to update information on the activities of the "CEO 500 – Tea Connect" event and the Autumn Economic Forum.
