According to the report, since the beginning of the year, the Central Inspection Commission has advised on the issuance of the Politburo and the Secretariat's inspection and supervision program for the entire 14th term, 2026; established 22 inspection and supervision teams to inspect 40 Party organizations directly under the Central Committee; completed the first phase of inspections in March; and is continuing to carry out the second phase of inspections as planned. In fulfilling its duties as stipulated in the Party Charter, the Central Inspection Commission has promptly implemented tasks according to the 2026 work program; advised and submitted to the Politburo for consideration and proposed to the Central Committee the disciplinary action against 1 Party member; the Secretariat considered and implemented disciplinary action against 6 Party members; and implemented disciplinary action against 11 Party members under its jurisdiction.
Concluding the working session, Standing Committee member Tran Cam Tu requested continued thorough understanding and strict implementation of Central Resolution No. 2 on reforming and improving the effectiveness of Party inspection, supervision, and discipline; Party regulations on inspection and supervision, especially newly issued regulations and directives of the Politburo and the Secretariat. He also called for comprehensive and effective implementation of tasks as stipulated in the Party Charter and assigned by Party committees, focusing on inspections when there are signs of violations; concentrating on inspecting urgent issues as required by tasks and practical situations; and key, sensitive, complex areas prone to violations.
Comrade Tran Cam Tu also requested proactive and timely advice to effectively implement the tasks assigned by the Central Committee, the Politburo, the Secretariat, the Central Steering Committee on preventing and combating corruption, waste, and negative phenomena, and the directives of the General Secretary and the President , especially the work of advising on the development and completion of documents and regulations on inspection and supervision work, ensuring quality and timeliness.
Emphasizing the need to strengthen supervision, the Standing Committee of the Party Central Committee proposed conducting supervision from the outset and throughout the process of Party committees and organizations at all levels in leading, directing, and organizing the implementation of resolutions, directives, conclusions, and decisions of the Central Committee, strategic resolutions of the Politburo, and directives of the General Secretary and the President.
